  1. Good, that info. should be included on every depth chart published not just some.
  2. Swallow this, Edwards became a billionaire selling CDN. oil, moved to Switzerland so he wouldn't have to pay pennies on the dollar in taxes for the wealth he extracted from CDN soil.
  3. Where did you see that? The most concise information that can be provided on a depth chart and someone thinks "we don't need that info., they'll eventually figure it out".
  4. 50% chance Schmekel signs with Sask. this off-season, what should give him pause for thought is they make no use of Natls. on their O-line, so he'd remain a backup till that changes.
  5. You can wonder, but you're not allowed to know.
  6. I seem to recall he took the Bomber signing bonus and purchased an ugly green pickup truck with the signing bonus shortly afterwards and had the temerity to post photos of himself standing beside it mocking the Bombers.
  7. Ayers may have surpassed him on ST and as a LB as well, same height but 20 lbs. more beef.
  8. I think you misinterpreted my comment, it's up to the trading partner to renegotiate Zach's contract before accepting the terms of the trade, if he disagrees to renegotiate, it's unlikely he plays football anywhere and eventually gets cut. This would be the worst case scenario for the Bombers as they would have to honour his current contract if there were no takers.
  9. Strev. would not have survived beyond his 3rd start, he'd be banged up and 6 game bound.
  10. No, they make it clear to the player and his agent before the trade this is what needs to happen if he is to join their team. Haven't seen a player contract yet a CFL team has not been willing to rip up and reconfigure more to their liking.
  11. Depends if he wants to continue playing football or not, Bombers trade him away and the team that takes him does so with the understanding that his contract will be renegotiated, it's been done before.
  12. Don't see that as a problem, should be some teams still interested in Zach if he's forced to renegotiate his contract. Both V.A. and Trevor Harris have been there, done that.
  13. Elite or not, he could do good things if he landed in Wpg.
  14. Yeah for Stanley!!!
  15. A wise GM might take notice V.A. is likely to become available in the off-season, snapping him up like he did Zach could buy Walters another 4-5 years of elite QB serviceability. Doing so would be better than milking an old cow for a year or two more in the hopes of extracting it's last remaining milk.
  16. MBT may be quirky but he seems like he's actually a pretty good leader, I think his intensity forces younger players to tune in and focus or gtfo the field.
  17. I believe Morrow recently failed to pass a medical with the Stamps.
  18. Sask. would be plenty dumb it they didn't grab Armstead, has more power than Hickson.
  19. Maybe the expedient thing to do is send Randolph back to the PR once Neufeld returns and prepare him for a position change to LT so he's better prepared once Stanley calls it a day. Pretty sure after the incident the other week this will be his last season. Benefit to Randolph he'll eventually earn more money on the outside.
  20. Easiest solution is to mandate the league's DC's to eliminate the practice, the players won't do what the coach tells them directly not to do.
  21. Biggest fear being stuck with Buck as OC forevermore if no other team offers him a HC position, cause O'Shea will never dump him.
  22. Whether they are or not, you can put money on them splitting with the Bombers.
  23. “You can never go home again.” -Thomas Wolfe Strev. should have regarded this sentiment, the past is in the past, and you can't bring it back.
  24. I'd be surprised, in the 2 years he has to contemplate his future, he's building connections and helping build a team of his own, he might get attached to the people he's working with. The only way he comes back to the Bombers is if he decides to go to FA and they outbid everyone else for his services, but I can't see RB management letting him get that far.
  25. Tony Jones sure looks like he could step into the MLB role once he has a good understanding of the playbook. At QB I want to see what Terry Wilson can do, he seems to have the best arm on the team, hopefully circumstances dictate that there is some margin in the playoff race that provides him more than a single Q to perform. I'll settle for Strev. going elsewhere in the off-season so they can provide the real backup with adequate playing time so he can develop properly enough to become a future starter.
