  1. OMG! OMG! Edit: Geeze, you scared me for a minute there. I figured Wade snuck up behind you and shoveled your face through the monitor before you could finish your message.
  2. If you'd care to share that inside information, I'll clear the path of any RR spies lurking in the shadows. Sooooooieee!!!!!!!!!!
  3. If you listen to the BB Talk Podcast below the brothers Hodge discuss five Bomber jersey numbers that are currently out of circulation but not officially retired. Bob Cameron’s #6; Kenny Ploen #11; Chris Walby’ #63; Milt Stegall #85; Jeff Nicklin #28; and Tommy Lumsden #75. Nicklin was killed in World War II, while Lumsden passed away in 1955 during a routine surgical procedure at the age of twenty-five. http://3downnation.com/2016/06/06/blue-bomber-talk-podcast-episode-21-ft-darrin-bauming/
  4. Seems to me that Popp is being very indecisive these days, which is not good from a management perspective. Henoc backs me on this one.
  5. Don't get your hopes up too high, O'Shea responded to Bob's Achilles heal question with a soft denial and his standard, "I don't look at it that way" answer.....so he may or may not recognize the O-lines performance as a problem but he sure isn't going to acknowledge that it was.
  6. I don't think he did, he was available during F.A. but as far as I know nobody picked him up.
  7. I have to hand it to Trump, despite the message he is conveying he is a great public speaker who can ramble on effortlessly for 45 minutes almost unscripted. Can't recall the last politician that could do that and retain a crowds attention.
  8. Disappointing but time to cut Knox and bring him back when he's healthy, Doesn't look good to have a roster spot given to a guy who spent the entire TC in the tub.
  9. I can't decide if Nichols is an untalented over-achiever or a talented under-achiever, it's a wish-wash either way.
  10. Different end of the spectrum, just happy friends divorces don't require attendance!
  11. Which comes to the crux of the current situation, if one party has a controlling agreement in place they may entertain dialogue but that doesn't mean they are going to flinch. As an aside, city planners do not make decisions for the betterment of a city or it's populace, they do as they are told.
  12. They've been debating this issue for at least the last 25 years and have many studies on traffic flow which show that it is a pretty big deal. Portage and Main is a natural bottleneck with a huge amount of traffic flowing through that intersection everyday. As it is now traffic flows quite well considering the volume of traffic involved but adding pedestrians to the mix would back things up severely and piss off far more people than the freedom to cross could ever please. The difference between Wpg. and other cities is that the grid is disjointed not rectangular, and the confluence of rivers cuts everything into pie shapes. Back in the 80's I worked a couple of summers in the City Planning Dept. and they had blueprints from the 50's that showed plans to split the traffic coming off of the Disraeli Overpass with an expressway cutting behind the Exchange District along the river bank, rejoining Main St. somewhere before the Norwood Bridge. Obviously since that time many major obstacles have been built in it's path so that option will never see the light of day.
  13. Although Ali was a great boxer in his early career, what he really did to revolutionize sports was bring personality and self-promotion into a world where most athletes were treated as silent drones. Boxing capitalized on the concept and it has bled off into other combat sports, as most fans really do want to know the real person better to confirm their love for their heroes. Sadly most of the major league sports have stuck to programming their athletes in drone speak. Nothing more boring then watching a pro athlete jibber-jabber for 2:30 seconds and say nothing.
  14. What was the injury that kept Richardson out for most of last season? I thought it was lower body as well.
  15. Now there is a brain I would love to see tested for CTE.
  16. Yeh, that's him, same guy that was shot in the head last summer. http://www.endzonescore.com/former-indianapolis-colts-wr-lavon-brazil-shot-in-head-remains-alive/32214
  17. Trump, back in the news. Trump on black supporter: 'Look at my African-American over here http://www.cnn.com/2016/06/03/politi...can/index.html Redding, California (CNN)Donald Trump sought to tout his support among African-Americans on Friday by pointing out a black man in the crowd and calling him "my African-American." "Oh, look at my African-American over here. Look at him," Trump said. "Are you the greatest?" The remark didn't generate a noticeable response from Trump's audience. A message left with the Trump campaign was not immediately returned. Trump's remark came as he recalled an incident in March when a black supporter of his assaulted a protester at a rally in Arizona as he was being escorted out of the building by police. The comment also comes as Trump is under fire for calling on the federal judge presiding over one of the lawsuits against Trump University to recuse himself because of his Mexican heritage. Trump again argued Friday in an interview with CNN's Jake Tapper that the judge is inherently biased against him because of the presumptive GOP nominee's plan to build a wall along the U.S.-Mexico border. The presumptive Republican nominee has repeatedly hit back at charges that he is racist by insisting he is "the least racist person that you have ever met." Still, Trump's rhetoric has repeatedly drawn charges of racism, xenophobia and Islamophobia. Trump kicked off his campaign by calling some undocumented immigrants from Mexico "rapists" and criminals and then stoked Islamophobic sentiment in December by calling for a "total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States." Trump said in March that he believes "Islam hates us" and said last fall that a Black Lives Matter protester who disrupted his rally and was kicked and punched by Trump supporters probably "should have been roughed up." Still, Trump has insisted that his campaign message will have enormous appeal among minority communities, particularly African-Americans and Hispanic Americans. The de facto Republican nominee insists that his promise to bring jobs back to the U.S. and reduce unemployment in minority communities will draw those groups to his controversial candidacy.
  18. Hope they honour the old-timers who are still living early on, never know when they will expire.
  19. Oskee wee wee is quite infectious, you just have to view it through the bottom of a 26 oz. bottle to appreciate it.
  20. No need for small talk when "so..." will suffice.
  21. This whole episode is a just reminder that Chris Jones has the persona of an ***hole and is quite happy to portray it in public. Remember last season when he thought it unnecessary to shake hands with the opposing HC?
  22. I like Veltung but don't like his odds. I wonder who has the upper hand on the returner job?
