  1. I think the only two provinces relying heavily on coal for electricity production are AB. and Sask. and AB. is now moving away from it. The U.S. may be completely different.
  2. I honestly have no idea but it does take some time to recharge the battery so this is not something you do without pre-planning. Typically most recharging will occur at home overnight and the cost will be buried in your Hydro bill.
  3. Charging stations are pretty invisible but they're now common in BC and AB. The infrastructure is cheap, they're sometimes nothing more than an electrical box and a couple of outlets on the wall of a service station, located near the air pump. I saw a Tesla charging station for the first time last week in Revelstoke and it was just a couple of stalls in the parking lot of a major hotel.
  4. No denying it KBF, you'd look pretty spiffy in a Tesla Roadster. Charging stations are here, I hope to make the move in the next 4-5 years as prices come down for electric vehicles. Technologically this should have happened 50 years ago.
  5. Trump set to roll back U.S. fuel-economy requirements on cars, more regression, more destruction. http://www.cbc.ca/news/business/trump-fuel-economy-1.4025816 They could have altered the "car culture" permanently after the 70's energy crisis when the price of gas first spiked, instead we've made little progress in almost 50 years thanks to the oil companies and the major car manufacturers pushing their agenda. Perhaps we'll cruise on for another 50 years in our F-350's before North Americans begin to take responsibility for ouir actions.
  6. I could see the Esks. keeping Franklin and trading Reilly at the end of the season for a boatload of assets. The Argos or the Riders might be desperate enough at that point to provide the Esks. with a number of top draft picks and established players.
  7. Scott Mitchell ✔ @ScottMitchellPM Gold response to Bo saying he’s looking forward to battling VY. Kevin Glenn ✔ @qterback5 @BoLeviMitchell @CFL @leighsteinberg you giving him the job already lol
  8. Sadly to say, the timing makes this likely. They just have to pick out their next "random target".
  9. Oh, right. Can't get rid of Richards till they get more Natl. depth at receiver anyways, might as well get used to it.
  10. Guess where Marcel was in 2007?
  11. Sorry, I forgot about Ryan Lankford so cutting Richards is a possibility if in fact he's the worst of the lot. As it stands they have JFG, Richards, Coates, Lankford and whoever they pick up in the draft to cover one, maybe two positions.
  12. Richards already knows the playbook and what he needs to do. All he has to do is beat out JFG and he starts.
  13. I can't see Richards being cut no matter what he shows in TC, there just isn't enough depth right now. Even if they pick up a receiver in the draft, he won't be starting.
  14. It takes a smart football player to play S or NB well, and some players just lack that particular facility.
  15. If Loffler is out for multiple games I can see Leggett going back to S and discovering who can cover at NB, maybe Waggoner, Fogg or Frederick. Julian Posey played there a bit last season but he seems to have vanished. I think it comes down to finding out where Waggoner fits in and which position he can cover best. Morgan may be an option at S but I think Jones is limited to wide-side corner.
  16. So..... when and if Loffler goes down, what's da shuffle?
  17. The word is "anyfuckingdaynow".
  18. Maybe not but he could buy the entire league if he was so inclined.
  19. Ya got to be shitting me. Common name I guess.
  20. Wasn't Boudreau here last year???
  21. Canucks owners looking to purchasing Lions. This would be good. http://theprovince.com/sports/football/cfl/bc-lions/ed-willes-canucks-owners-kick-the-tires-on-the-b-c-lions
  22. I think the Mexicans are just the tip of the iceberg, pretty obvious he has other target groups in mind.
  23. Can't believe Jovon was picked up and Johnny Adams is still available.
  24. Again, you present a talking point, hoping nobody will follow up on it. Here's the entire context of the debate. http://news.nationalpost.com/news/canada/canadian-politics/conservatives-have-created-waves-of-islamophobia-muslim-leader-says-ahead-of-key-house-vote
