  1. Who knows but they gave him a look and decided Adams, Mayo, Sheppard and Davis were better fits. Could have been attitude, lack of effort, drops or anything. Dressler and Smith were essential to LaPo's game plan and for marketing so they were untouchables.
  2. True only as long as you acknowledge the ladder is made with Canadian softwood.
  3. Nevis also spent time inside, he threw Hardrick out of the way on one play like a sack of potatoes. There really are some amazing D-lines this year, should be fun to watch. Fact Check: Nevis and Laurant play DT with Tracy and Chick on the wings.
  4. They handled Nevis and a re-invigorated Chick pretty well last week so they should be able to deal with the Esks. rush as long as they keep getting the ball away quickly. Two sacks given against Hammy is pretty good compared to past history.
  5. Best accept it brother, running a ball control offence is going to be the hallmark of the LaPo-Willy partnership,
  6. Sure would be nice if both Adams and Johnson returned this week for the Esks, reducing the rookies to one. If I had to chose one of the 4 options for the HB spot I would go with Posey at this point.
  7. Send him to the CFL Time website on You Tube. Sask.-Esk. and Cgy.-Ott. would be two good games from this past weekend. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC358NgkZW9FdzGWlLctt0iQ As for marketing who cares, marketing is mostly extraneous bullshit.
  8. Morley Scott @Morley_Scott The QB experiment is over. #Esks release Thomas Demarco. They have also brought back Rec Andrew Johnson. Team back practice today #CFL
  9. I view that play as very well executed.
  10. You got it Park Pontiac! The Bombers hung tough and out gritted the Ti-Cats for the victory and in the end despite all of the analysis of what could have been and what might have happened, that's what counts.
  11. Just re-watched the game, say what you will about Austin's Ti-Cats but the one thing they do not do is lie down and take it. They played poorly against the Bombers and made countless mistakes but even with their second string QB and 6 T.O.'s they were still scratching and clawing to the very end.
  12. If the Bombers can carry anything with them from the Hammy game I hope it is fight. If there is anything I expected to see from a team coached by Mike O'Shea it is fight, but sadly that has been lacking the first two years plus two games of this year. It's late coming but never to late to begin, so hopefully this is the first step in creating a team identity which reflects the character of their coach.
  13. Let's hope for the continuation of the trend, I believe they were very close to winning a few of their early games in 2015 under Glenn but came up short repeatedly. I seem to recall that there were a couple of early OT losses that broke their whiny green hearts as well.
  14. If you go to the CJOB "Audio on Demand" site and locate the starting time for the game, you should be able to play the audio at the same time as the video. You can only select the starting hour on the hour of playback so you might have to wait a bit until you start the video. They may not be perfectly synced but hey, it kind of works. http://www.cjob.com/audio-on-demand/
  15. According to Bob Irving Hawkins was benched in the second half for Jones. The guy was only on the roster for 3 days prior to the game so I think he deserves a bit of slack.
  16. Esks. are beatable but they will be pissed next Thurs.
  17. That's the point of having flexibility on the roster, they can play the best players were they can help the most.
  18. That was a different offence and a different QB. Reilly is capable of lighting it up, Masoli not so much.
  19. Geeze, the Esks. are marching the field with a few big plays, hope the Bombers are ready for that. It may be a good game to install Leggett back at Safety and let Macho loose to pound on White.
