15 yard UR penalty at that time would have turned a punt into an easy FG from the Rider 35 as well. I can understand if the play is not challengeable but it should have been flagged by the Command Center.- Looking ahead to the Banjo Bowl
Banjo Bowl is going to be nasty, O'Shea extremely upset over Rempel being taken out. Jump to 0:58 https://www.tsn.ca/video/riders-close-out-labour-day-classic-win-over-bombers-on-final-drive~1768927- Labour Day Classic GAMEDAY THREAD

Certainly didn't hurt having Loffler back him up last year, Hecht is good for one tackle per game and timing his arrival a split second after the play is over just in time to survey the damage.- Labour Day Classic GAMEDAY THREAD
Augustine had no holes to run through, Hughes and Johnson no longer pursue, they sit and wait for the RB or QB to run into their arms.- Labour Day Classic GAMEDAY THREAD

That was with Reilly "the chucker", what would that translate to in Bomber numbers......43 catches for 847 yds.!!!- looking ahead-LDC
Watson has been playing in the league since 2010, I think that deserves a little respect.- Bombers release Chris Matthews
Those two are probably looking at pro-rated $250,000 contracts with outs at the end of the year, 3 or 4 balls per game may not be cost effective for the Bombers or attractive to either of them. I think Duke has been through this cycle twice before so he may be quicker to come back than Zylstra and finally give up chasing the NFL dream.- looking ahead-LDC
Recently re-watched that game, I think there are a couple of major differences. That was the second game of the season, the Als were a crappy team last year at the best of times, early season Als were a craptacularly bad team. We may hate the Riders but you have to admit they're playing decent ball right now. Als did not have much of a pass rush so Streveler had plenty of time to locate his receivers and get the ball to them. Riders have one of the top D-lines in the league and are going to bring pressure, so Strev. is not going to have the luxury of time to find open receivers, he'll have to move the ball quickly. The game could come down to ball security so I think it's most likely we'll see the same game-plan they employed against the Esks. which means run often and only throw when necessary.- looking ahead-LDC
I know, no sense trying to fool anybody, Bombers win this game on the run or they don't win at all. The more running weapons they can throw at the Riders the better.- looking ahead-LDC
Don't think they need to do that, they already have Petermann, I guess if they lose an Import receiver they will use Grant.- looking ahead-LDC
Crap, they decided not to add Santiago.- 2019 CFL Season: Around the League
✔@TSNDaveNaylor As a settlement of a grievance filed under the CBA, the Saskatchewan Roughriders and the CFLPA have agreed that Jordan Williams-Lambert will be eligible to workout and potentially sign a NFL contract under the NFL Option Window. Jordan’s CFL playing rights remain with Sask.(2/2) 11:23 AM - Dec 21, 2018 More details https://www.tsn.ca/williams-lambert-allowed-to-workout-for-nfl-teams-1.1230014- 2019 CFL Season: Around the League
Poor Kerwin, he'll never live this highlight down. Truth be told he was a pretty good QB with an excellent arm. From Wikipedia Bell returned to the CFL in 1998 with the Toronto Argonauts and had his best professional year. He threw for 4,991 yards and 27 touchdowns and set a lead record with a completion percentage of 67.3%, earning him a spot on the CFL All-Star team.[22][19] He signed with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers and again passed for over 4000 yards in 1999, Overall, Bell played in 126 regular season CFL games, completed 1,560 passes in 2,558 attempts, and threw 101 touchdowns.[19]- Regular Season Bomber News
The silver lining of Neufeld's long absence has been 3 young Natl. O-linemen fast tracking their careers with plenty of valuable game reps. they would not normally have received. This has provided the coaching staff with an abundance of game film which will help them make difficult roster decisions during the off-season which could determine the composition of the O-line for the next 3-4 years. I think they now have the confidence to move on without Paddy.- Bombers release Chris Matthews
People can say what they like about Max Hall but he was one of the toughest QB I've ever seen play, the beatings Reilly is taking in BC are nothing compared to what Hall endured in 2013 playing behind a toothless O-line. - Looking ahead to the Banjo Bowl
