It's worth noting too that O'Shea does way more media than he is required to. He's called into CJOB's Sports Show for interviews a couple times in the last week beyond his Monday show, he also calls into TSN 1290 fairly often for interviews which he does not have to do. There is some truth to the saying that you get what you give. Seems that the media who act in a respectful, professional manner get a lot of time from O'Shea. Bombers are in the business of selling tickets. Having Oshea on 1290 and CJOB is free advertising for the club.

He posts on the other Bombers forum. Might be getting info there and making up the rest. I recall when he first started on OB the reports were borderline but got progressively more outrageous to the point where he was banned.

Wasn't this the poster who was banned from ourbombers.com a couple years ago for posting fake training camp updates? His updates never jived with people who were actually there... I was legit about to say this. The attitude and style are almost identical. Members here might want to take his training camp updates with a grain of salt until the mods deal with this guy.

And Penton would know as much about it as a fan would since no one from the Bombers said one way or the other.Pretty sure Penton has conversations with players, coaches and management that aren't official interviews. In fact I saw him doing this today.Official or not, coaches and players are not going to talk about injuries with reporters during TC.So you know for a fact that one of the coaches, or Richards himself didn't tell someone after practice that he "was just a little sore" and will be back practicing tomorrow?
