  1. Walters is really clearing a lot of cap space to make some big 2015 free agency splashes.
  2. @PentonKirk: The #Bombers restructured Nick Moore's contract to give him some bonus money on the 2014 salary cap. No salary change. #CFL
  3. @OTTRoughRiders: Per @TimCBaines, WR SJ Green turned down a 3-yr/$600k offer from the #Als.
  4. I agree. If we plan on making a run at the Grey Cup, we need an experienced guy.
  5. Except O'Shea has said OC/DC will no longer have any say on players going forward.lol are you serious?? O'Shea did not say this. He said coordinators don't have full control over personnel decisions. Thats what i said. No that's not what you said. Have problems reading? Look at it. Did he not say that his OC/DC wouldnt have a say in player personal going forward? He didnt want everyone changing around him? Of course some guys will go and some will come in... that happens all the time to every team. You said "OC/DC will no longer have any say on players going forward". That's just not true and is not what O'Shea said. O'Shea said they won't have full control. Big difference. Allowing them to have full control in the first place is a bad idea no? Im sure you want them to have some say in it but full control? What grade education do you have...seriously? I'm done with this conversation.

  8. But I'd assume Hall will pay more attention to run defense, right? That was the biggest shortcoming of Etch.

  10. Josh McCown lobbied for the Bucs to hire Marc Trestman as their new offensive coordinator. We haven't seen any credible reports linking Trestman to a team since he was fired by the Bears Monday. But we'd love to see the Bucs and Lovie Smith take a long, hard look. Trestman coaxed a career year out of McCown in 2013 and could do some serious damage with the likes of potential No. 1 overall pick Marcus Mariota, Mike Evans, Vincent Jackson and Austin Seferian-Jenkins. 11. This is the first I've heard of a meeting between the Bombers and Claybrooks. There was a rumour from one of our media guys (can't remember who) that Claybrooks was in town shortly before Etch was fired. This is the tweet by Scott Mitchell of the Calgary Sun that said Claybrooks had been to Winnipeg:Scott Mitchell ‏@SUNMitchell Dec 17 According to a source, DeVone Claybrooks was in Winnipeg recently for a "meeting." #CFL #Bombers ow ow ow ow....Well, in their defense... No everyone reads all the boards posts like we so... plus, attention spans are at an all time low for this.generation.. What were we talking about? apparently Claybrooks was in Winnipeg for a meeting First time I've heard of this rumor. Intriguing...
  12. Interesting nugget I just thought of. Didn't the Riders cut Kuale while Hall was DC? If Hall already knows how terrible Kuale is, I might finally get my wish of no more Kuale!
  13. Haven't heard anything to the contrary. Our genius media members didn't find it to be a worthy question to ask O'Shea at the last press conference. Exactly what I was thinking. Pretty sure half ghe media who follow the Bombers don't even know who Pat Tracy is.
  14. I assume Pat Tracy is back next season?
  15. @CFL_News: OL coach Dan Dorazio out w/ #BCLions a surprise. He's been a staple for Lions. #CFL
  16. Just reading up on Hall's accomplishments. Very impressive. We'll be in good hands if he is in fact named DC.
  17. Like I said in my first post, when factoring inflation, the fixed cost of $4.5 million essentially goes down every year.
  18. Did you complain that much and consider it a waste when you made your mortgage payments? I'm not complaining. I'm glad they made their payment. But we all know $4.5 million will be extremely difficult to pay back every year. As far as mortgages go, you qualify & then make a either a single monthly or bi weekly payment you can afford based on your income. And your income is based on your bi weekly or monthly paycheques which are the same. Not if the economics of the CFL are working & if people buy tickets to see the team play based on winning vs losing. Or league tv money, concert & advertising revenues. In other words, revenue streams will vary from year to year. As this is the first payment & there are 39 more to go, we have no idea if this is affordable for the team or not. Sellinger put the team into this position like no other in the CFL. Once again, glad they made their payment. Don't read anything else into what I said, please. You said its going to "cripple the team". Not sure how else you can take it.
  19. Same gut said 4 burgers was a good idea.... Plus 12 draft beer, a burrito and a big bowl of chili.
  20. Pretty sure only iso was complaining.Where's Paul Friesen? **** man, I wasn't complaining. Give your stupid head a shake. Just re-read your initial post and you were definitely complaining.
  21. Did you complain that much and consider it a waste when you made your mortgage payments? iso doesn't believe in mortgages. He lives on the mean streets of Winnipeg.
  22. having been in both stadiums I have to give the edge to BC Place. But of course, BC Place cost $500 million. I much prefer an outdoor stadium for a football game. I take IGF over BC Place every day.
  23. This is the first I've heard of a meeting between the Bombers and Claybrooks. There was a rumour from one of our media guys (can't remember who) that Claybrooks was in town shortly before Etch was fired. I know. It's a joke
