  1. lol I guess Doug Brown is going to be sued too. He suggested the ref last night was "on someone's payroll".
  2. There's been 3 calls against the Bombers I distinctly remember over the past 5-6 years that I'd consider corrupt. Two were against the Als and the one last night helped the Als the most. Hmmm...
  3. That call was beyond incompetence. That's why I'm convinced it's corruption.
  4. Head ref was either instructed by the CFL to ensure Winnipeg lost or he's accepting bribes. Someone with Als org paying off refs? A playoff game can result in $1-2 million in profit. Share some with corrupt refs?An NBA ref went to prison. You don't think something similar could happen in the CFL? I'd say it's much more likely. That is ridiculous. There isn't enough money bet on the CFL to make it worthwhile. And it wasn't the head official who threw the flag. It's 100% not ridiculous. There's lots of money to be made betting on low level sports. And I also suggested someone in Als org could be implicated. The head official instructed the line judge to throw the flag after they discussed. It was a very late flag for an infraction normally called once the ball is snapped.

  6. Doesn't make much sense as a conspiracy either, basically this was a nothing game. Bombers weren't going to make the playoffs and the Stamps weren't going to miss them either.People bet money on games. Or someone wants to ensure Montreal makes the playoffs.
  7. Then some refs go to jail and they get what they deserved.
  8. If like to see a criminal investigation into this. I think there are CFL refs accepting bribes. There's no other explanation.
  9. @ArashMadani: Source on-field tells me Mike O'Shea asked for explanation on Adams flag. Source on stripes: "buried his head and ran away. Literally." #CFL
  10. We said that last week. How about need to win 4 of remaining 6 games.
  11. That's the fun of our league. It's different. And no you're not stuck. Play the waiver wire, there's several gems every year. Make trades etc. Former Bomber Steve Morley is in our league, by the way. Which team is he? Long Duk Dong.
  12. I agree 100%. That's why I'm going to the game tonight. Bombers are still in it. We're due for one upset this year.
  13. Wear gold day = sell all the gold inventory before the Bombers switch to the royal blue’s full-time next year.
  14. I think we win tonight. Calgary is beatable...they aren't a great team. They are a good team that is very well coached and doesn't make many mistakes.

  16. Hustler and Lawless starts an hour earlier now (3 hours instead of 2) and Lawless will be on TSNs Sunday morning show, The Reporters.
  17. He is all of those things, but he is also this season very emotional which leads to irrational arguments that he just keeps hammering away on even if other people show him to be in the wrong, at which point he takes it as a personal slight. I respect his opinion, but when he starts in the old man yelling at clouds act I just roll my eyes.I saw one of your posts today or yesterday where you called out another member & used ***** & ***** twice in a sentence calling them out. If that isn't yelling & showing disrespect then I don't know what it is. You know that I also respect your opinion but please don't point fingers at me & say I yell & scream like an old man at members when you do it here as well. Long time members know you have a temper as well.Hey I didn't say you did it at members, you're ranting and raving about the team a lot though and then take thing personally when people argue with you. You're damned right I use colourful adjectives to describe opinions I don't like, but that's a far cry from what's going on here. I wouldn't really say I have a temper so much as I have an argumentative streak a mile wide and don't give a **** if people get offended. You get a forum full of people with that attitude and within a month the forum is done and done. Why would one feel he has to offend people he does not agree with. People don't do that with those they work with or play with or those you live with so why feel it is an entitlement when you deal with people who just want to express an opinion on a subject of common interest. This thread is an example of what a forum should never be.Instead we should just let morons keep posting stupid crap? No that's a forum I never want to see. If I think someone has a stupid opinion I'm going to tell them so and ask them to back it up. Just the way it's going to go. I'm not interested in a forum that is unfiltered ranting. People want to do that then they should start a blog. Once people get over this idea that everyones ideas are valid the better off a forum will be.And I suppose you see yourself as the "valid idea" judge? You've got some serious issues man. I learned long ago, never to wrestle with a pig. You get dirty, and besides, the pig likes it. -- George Bernard Shaw in other words "I can't defend myself so I won't try and just whine about being bulliedAnother option is some members here could behave in a civil and respectful manner.
  18. Where did you hear this rumor?Garth Buchko and Jim Bell told me. Very funny. So you think I'm lying when I said that? Seriously where did you hear the rumor or did you make that up?
