  1. I'm really beginning to dislike human beings.
  2. How do you even do that?
  3. I don't think so. I think it might highlight their need to be more active throughout the season and nearing the trading deadline to ensure they have the best team possible for post season. Sort of like can't rest on their laurels type thinking. They still finished with 109 points and the most regulation time wins (50) in the league. However this means nothing if they can't make it past the first round.
  4. He better have his head on a swivel tonight.
  5. How about Matt Dunigan? My level of respect for him has increased ever since he went full disclosure of the impacts concussions have had on him and his family and his genuine love for CFL football evident in his broadcasts. Sort of the yes we need to make this game as safe as possible but never stop balling hard. I love watching games he does the colour.
  6. I think for a lot of people, it's not calling for his head on one particular gaffe or accusing him of something he isn't, it's calling for his head on his constant trending of massive gaffes. Once a mistake twice a trend sort of thing. In the work and personal world, a lot of us are judged that way.
  7. And to unpack that even more, there is a difference between using a poor choice of words to articulate something you do indeed understand versus using a poor choice of words to articulate something you don't understand.
  8. That makes him a no name? Not in my books.
  9. If you're a true professional athlete it's never okay regardless of who is available in the draft. That's my educated guess in how Blake Wheeler would respond to this statement and it's my guess that this mentality is one of the main reasons he wears the C.
  10. Agree with most of what you write here but Bryan Little a role player? When healthy he's more than a role player for this team imo.
  11. Yup agree.
  12. I hope Nichols makes all of this talk about other Qb's a moot point for this upcoming season. We're due. It's our year. After 20 umpteen years optimism still going strong. There's no alternative. How long into the season we start saying Go Jets Go? November?
  13. Trump says based on he what he has read on this matter, no wrong doing here AND Trump has stated he is a very instinctual person. Therefore, matter closed. Oh and April has been declared by Trump National Sexual Assault Awareness Month.
  14. There's worse third stringers we could bring in. Nothing wrong with bringing him in and seeing how he looks with his hat on backwards, pencil in hand with a clip board.
  15. When I saw this I thought he's still with the team? Makings of a great coach killer.
  16. Exactly but Trump defending and encouraging Flynn to seek immunity so he can tell the 'real' story. Sort of supports my feel of what Flynn wants to do. Get up there lie, distract and befuddle and not be formally held accountable for his words. Fits the current administration's mo. It seems at this point prosecution not falling for it.
  17. I so hope your tin foil isn't working, I really do. At this point, I have a feeling this is nowhere near the stage of impeach proceedings. If one thing this administration (like previous administrations but way off the wall different and impactful) are experts at and I mean experts, is the constant barrage of distractions (hey what's that over there) and befuddlement (Ideology over fact to borrow Ted Koppel's argument). This current administration has caused a lot of people from different walks of life, especially in the media, to have this incredulous exhausted look of bewilderment on their faces (i.e., jaw drop) while laughing nervously. And laughing not because it's funny. I would think for a great many of us around the world, regardless of our beliefs, regardless of our ideologies, regardless of our experiences and opinions, just want all of this to go away, no?
  18. Or, as his lawyer is a bit implying, he comes out guns ablazing, defending Trump and himself, lies threw his teeth but has immunity from prosecution . . .
  19. Again, the way this will be positioned is big desperately needed things for our Country require tough tough decisions by a person with conviction and courage. His low ratings will be rationalized to prove that. He is getting things done that need to be done and the low ratings prove that. Needed monumental change will be hard. 'I'm not here to make people happy, I'm here to make America great again'. I need a shower.
  20. Even if he is, meaningless games means less pressure. It's the pressure games that Hutchinson shows his true colors. Thanks but no thanks.
  21. It makes sense though. We one again misinterpreted what he said/meant about obamacare. Get with the program.
  22. I'll try, but a colleague of mine just randomly emailed our leadership team with this: Since 1991 the Grey Cup has been awarded 26 times, the following teams have won the Grey Cup: Calgary – 5 times Toronto – 5 times BC – 4 times Edmonton – 4 times Montreal – 3 times Saskatchewan – 2 times Hamilton – 1 time Baltimore – 1 time Ottawa – 1 time Wait for it….. Winnipeg – 0, yes ZERO times… Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm……. Just saying…. If any of my fellow diehard Blue Bomber fans have a snappy comeback that I can use in reply I'd appreciate it. He's an Eskiblow fan as well. All I've replied thus far is he smells.
  23. Whether it's a slash, whether it's a boarding penalty, whether it's a elbowing penalty, hitting from behind, leaving your feet, kneeing etc etc I find a lot of inconsistency in what's deems a suspension and/or how long it is. The player was hurt by a purposeful illegal action. A lot of suspensions/fines and lengths seem to be influenced by injuries. If a player is not injured on an illegal action by the opponent, I find no injury on the play highly influences whether/how long he gets suspended and or fined. Shouldn't it work the other way as well, regardless of the level of viciousness, it's still illegal AND it resulted in injury therefore warrants a suspension and/or fine.
  24. And mix into that formula the easy access to alcohol and drugs, rising addictions and untreated mental health issues.
  25. I'm wondering if any other playoff contending team wanted Jerome Iginla's services? My guilty pleasure is enjoying this.
