This looks encouraging. http://www.cnn.com/videos/cnnmoney/2016/09/08/vicis-football-helmets-concussions-nfl-cnnmoney.cnn (sorry if the link doesn't work, just go to the CNN website if interested)

Bombers @ Lions: Game Day Thread (07/21/17)
HardCoreBlue replied to Noeller's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
Bingo. I remember a telecast where him and Benevides were getting into it which really put this on display. It appears that's how he's hardwired. -
That is one amazing stat on Collaros. There is no way one could have predicted this. What is it? Lack of confidence, support, coaching, health, combo? Or is it actually talent?

Bombers @ Lions: Game Day Thread (07/21/17)

At least he's not wasting away on the sidelines anymore. -

Yup, more on securing the tackle wrip and wrap less on seeking the big hit without the arms.
-
Good point.

I'd probably be one of those though not as extreme as you're putting it. I think he's deserved some that criticism due to his overall play at LB but he did play well last night. Here's hoping he's turned the corner.
-
Not a fan of Hurl but he played well last night and I especially liked his conversation with Glenn at the coin toss for the second OT. Painful to watch the first 1 3/4 quarters. Randle played his usual blanket self. I thought Knox was a beast on special teams. Dressler was the man of the hour by far. Oh how sweet for that to happen in the Prider stadium with all those Dressler jerseys. Nice to see Washington get a off balance run backward TD. I really liked your point JBR on our DE's cheating inside that let Glenn escape pressure from the interior. Suitor said something interesting last night that I've been advocating for a while now. He said coaches have 30 seconds to call a challenge or it moves to the next play. That's the first I've heard of that rule and if it is an actual rule it sure doesn't see to be enforced.

Yup, the perils of being a hardcore BlueBomber fan. :-)

One way to attract and keep younger fans is to make a CFL video game. Seriously. My son (13 years old) loves , watches and plays football, knows all the players on his favorite team (Eagles) and buys their product. One reason, the John Madden video game.
-
Wow, those bare stands. I'm officially worried about CFL football in the Big Smoke.
-
You still haven't answered my original question. Enjoy your weekend.
-
Thanks for not answering the question and doing your go to deflect approach. Here's where I disagree with you. I believe CNN being an untrustworthy source has nothing to do with Trump being crazy but you seem to join those two issues together with your posts.
-
What's a comfortable approach for you when someone disagrees with you, wants to offer up an alternative point of view without you feeling you're been told to do something? I thought I challenged something based on what you wrote, attempting to do it in a respectful way, according to how I see things as well. It's not a personal attack, It's called a dialogue, debate, discourse.
-
I have no idea what you mean by this.
-
Maybe this isn't your intent but this can sound like, 'yea this is bad but that's just as bad or worse' argument that can sometimes distract us. One issue doesn't cancel the other out in terms of it's seriousness. Let's not deflect away from the issue at hand. If the issue at hand is CNN is an untrustworthy medium, let's look at it and analyze it with facts and less on ideology. If the issue at hand is Trump is a crazy ass lunatic, let's look at it and analyze it with facts and less on ideology. Let's stop jumping back and forth with issues that deflects our attention and spend some time together focused on a specific issue.

Nice gratitude statement with a sprinkle of reality. A lot of us can relate.

Some of the same people who have been armed with the tag line FAKE NEWS when countering people like Dr. Steffie Wollhandler.

Good point, I think Ray is one of the best in the league when he gets his Steamboats. However, his ranking drops considerably as the steamboats drop due to his mobility and release issues.
-
Yea good ole Ray Ellgaard who was 20 yards down field while the defense was still huddling.
-
Yup, the more they do it the more it becomes normalized. SJ Green did it down the sideline yesterday, blatant push from behind, DB in disbelief. They'll probably correct it July 1st when Dressler catches the first TD caught in the new Mosiac stadium.
-
And has the protection. Quick release is not in his bag of tools.

Hamilton receiver Elliott spins the ball after a six yard gain and shows bravado. Yeesh.
-
Subtle push-off of a defender is legal? If it is, it shouldn't be. Fighting for the ball is different than a push-off. It clearly givers the receiver a tremendous advantage. Two of his catches could have been called but the catch in the end zone was offensive pass interference, it was more than subtle imo. Great catches though. Brandon Zylystra would look good in a Bomber uniform. That guy can play. Nic Moore played well. John White the IV? When that happen? Travis Lulay wasting away on the sideline is hard to watch. I'm surprised Sasky wouldn't make a play for him. What a great insurance policy to have for Buono if JJ goes down. Fun game to watch, some real athletic plays. Weird not watching our Bombers first week of the season.
