He may need to cut his teeth at other coaching roles (OC) to get the experience but I'm wondering if Buck Pierce has any aspirations in being at HC.

I just don't want having ZC taking his final hit dressed in a BB uniform that officially takes him out of the game. It just feels that he needs to let go.

You just get the sense that ZC's playing career is over with his concussion and injury history. To me it makes no sense to trade for him. I wouldn't want to take that baggage on. I would hope for his long term health ZC will be the next Buck Pierce and move into QB coaching sooner than later.

I'm liking Pionk's game so far. Looks to be a keeper.

He's so average but doing more than us. So far.

The great qb's in the CFL over the years seem to have had that abilty at the last second to duck or spin those blind side hits. Plus a little communication from your players help too.
