The Democrats, no matter how stern they talk ( Jerry Nadler is a prime example here), no matter how well they articulate the issue and no matter how they pound their hands on tables, they are just so weak and ineffectual in keeping this administration in check. Exactly. The system of checks and balances in place are no match for the Trump Administration, hence a mirage. It’s like hey you can’t do that! We have rules. Oh yea well try and stop me. This administration just does what it wants because it has control of the Senate like you say and the current independent system of checks and balances offers no resistance. And sorry if this has already been addressed in this thread but why not present a true united front when meeting with the Federal Government for financial assistance? i.e., put current differences aside and have the Commissioner, the CFLPA President and a CFL owner rep present as one voice with a well laid out plan when seeking assistance from the federal government. If the Commissioner believes the CFL potentially could fold, then push all your individual differences aside, all hands on deck. What complexity am I missing because without a league everything else is moot.

Yup. I think it was thought by many there was a system in place with pretty stable checks and balances but Trump and his administration have proven this was simply simply a mirage.

Absolutely agree with you, all I'm saying is his 'Trump no matter what' base will follow along no matter what, even it doesn't fit the insane narrative they all bought into. They'll just trump along and adjust to whatever convoluted, mixed messaged, hypocritical, insane narrative they need to follow based on what he does. I've read over and over again on a variety of social media mediums that some people will vote for Trump no matter what. As I've written before, the 'no matter what' part of that sentence is bewildering to me. Is it the same thinking when one says to another (usually family members to one another): I'll love you no matter what'?

No it won’t. Trump no matter what. I’m equating the term covidiots with committed Trump supporters. It just doesn’t matter what he does or says, even it upsets them, hurts them, impacts them directly eventually or in real time. It just doesn’t matter for some.
