As regards Bo-Levi, he was just not himself this season past. Admittedly, he did not have the offensive talent, but his performance was sub-par for him. I do wonder if his injuries have hampered him and whether he will ever be dominant again.

I am of the opinion that the massive changes in player personnel makes it difficult for fans to identify year to year with a team. There has to be some sort of compromise between losing half a roster off season and players being held hostage.

Danny Mac's performance pre-Rigmaiden was pretty underwhelming. Should we lose Rigmaiden, it will be a setback.

On 1290 radio yesterday, a guest who was interviewed (Lalji?) stated that in talking to the CFL GMs, he had the distinct impression that 2020 would be a year where teams would begin to start dial back QB salaries as Reilly's contract in BC proved that paying that kind of money to a few players beggars the rest of the talent. FWIW.

Maybe. It is going to come down to who is going to take the snaps and the OC. The reality is that Collaros is very high-risk and has voiced a desire to play in Toronto, and Nichols is almost as high-risk and may not even be ready for training camp. Plus, he hurt his throwing shoulder, and we all know what that did to Khari. Calgary will move heaven and earth to keep Arbuckle and I would bet that he is high on the RedBlack wish list.

Why not go with 2 quarterbacks who appear to have starter potentials (Streveler + ?) with each at $200k base salary and starter bonuses of another 250k to take one or the other to 450k range? Let 'em earn the big bucks.

Doesn't matter. They had undeniably the worst quarterbacking in the league, so they were scrooged from day one. If it was obvious to this forum, it sure as spit was obvious to the team, who knew they were DOA before they stepped onto the field.
