  1. YouTube livestream from TSN is working for free. Just caught up with the 3rd round over
  2. Like the LB picks. Hope we have the teams stacked with potential starters instead of scrubs. Don’t want to see Gauthier on D again. Who knows if the QB works out but he’s got talent at least
  3. Or they really like this running back Matthew Peterson. Maybe they don't like the RBs in the draft this year but think there are a lot of DTs available. Who knows
  4. I honestly completely forgot who Samson was and that he was a 2nd round pick last year.
  5. https://iuhoosiers.com/news/2024/8/16/football-punter-evolution-james-evans-rates-among-nations-best-PETE "Last year’s average of 45.8 yards was the best ever by a Hoosier, topping Drew Hagan’s 44.8-yard average in 1999. He had 22 punts of more than 50 yards, with a long of 70. His career average of 43.9 yards is also a school record, better than Alan Sutkowski’s 42.5-yard average from 1995-97."
  6. From https://3downnation.com/2025/04/28/top-10-position-players-in-the-2025-cfl-global-draft/ EDGE Kemari Munier-Bailey, Weber State University (England) HT: 6024 | WT: 230 | HND: 90 | ARM: 323 | WNG: 781 BP: 20 | VJ: 33 | BJ: 9030 | 10YD: 1.62 | 40YD: 4.70 | 3C: 757 | SS: 4.69 A former member of the Great Britain junior national basketball team, Munier-Bailey had stints at Idaho and Fresno State before earning third-team FCS All-American honours in his final season with the Wildcats. He’s a classic CFL tweener on the outside with a good first step and active hands as a speed rusher, though he can be late to bend the edge and gets run past the QB at times. Despite a similar frame and athletic profile to Jibunor, he isn’t quite as strong at the point of attack and can get moved off his spot in the run game, but is fast enough to be able to track down ball carriers in space once they bounce outside. That makes him one of the better special teams projections available in addition to his situational defensive value
  7. It already just happened. https://www.cfl.ca/2025-global-draft-tracker/ 2 Winnipeg Blue Bombers Kemari Munier-Bailey Defensive Lineman Weber State Great Britain
  8. Ya if they removed the picks we'd be better off but they weren't ever doing that. Our picks at 15 and 18 were at 15 and 18 before today's announcement. Also, wasn't our first round pick at 7 before today? Now it is at 6.
  9. Ya totally agree that it doesn't make sense. The picks should just be forfeited. Bombers aren't any worse off though. Just Calgary gets a huge bonus.
  10. How was Woli not given a chance? He started for years. Him and Demski are the reason no other Canadians got a chance at receiver.
  11. No extra picks were added though right? So isn't that pick in the same spot? Our 1st rounder would have moved up a spot since BCs pick was moved the end of the round for Calgary.
  12. Jake Thomas - High Impact Canadian! https://www.cfl.ca/2025/03/11/3-high-impact-canadian-players-from-every-cfl-team/
  13. Ricky Walker missed the play in the backfield. Jefferson was out there but contained the right side while Kelly ran up the middle. Jake couldn't fill the gap when Kelly scrambled. For those that want to re-live the misery - 4:20
  14. Anybody listen to the OB special? Anything interesting of note? Haven't listened to it yet but here is the spotify link
  15. They usually post them as a podcast too on Spotify at least
  16. The real reason the Bombers lost the last 3 cups... they didn't play the Ti-Cats. Hopefully the Ti-Cats are good enough to make it there this year!
  17. True but who was really available to get? Ceresna was always going to Edm. Brinkman would have been nice. Geno Lewis? Price tag exceeds production.
  18. Ya McManus is worth it for sure but he's the best D player in the league. Kelly was on a rookie contract for the first cup and didn't even play in this years. Ceresna they traded for and then lost immediately when he was FA again. Overall TO isn't going out chasing all the flashy FAs and paying top $. That isn't how they won the 2 of the last 3. Spending all that money on Schoen and Lawler last year bit us when they got hurt and there was no one left but rookies to play.
  19. I get what you're saying but they locked up Schoen and Brady last year for top $. Two star guys in their prime. Who has won anything recently making FAs the top paid players?
  20. Based on how a lot of draftees turn out, getting one all-star season out a 2nd round pick is pretty good. Anthony Bennett and Faith E now those were wasted picks.
  21. They made him the highest paid non-QB of course he's going to say how great the Ti-Cat organization is.
  22. Got to be pretty much everyone not on a rookie deal makes $100k
  23. Ya that was the time. Too late now. Gotta ride with him this season and then see what next year brings
  24. Biggest problem with ZC is that he is being paid like a player that should be able to win the big game by himself and he's not that guy.
  25. Sort of a random thought but who are the Elks receivers even going to be this year? Geno, Mitchell, Tevin Jones all out. They signed Kaion Julien-Grant and someone named Tyson Middlemost Ford going to do it all by himself?
