  1. I only subscribe to TSN for the season, just for the bombers. So an additional streaming service fee sucks for more cost but otherwise changes nothing about how I watch games. I’m 40 years old, I imagine those younger than me don’t get TSN through cable either
  2. What do you mean by this? He quit because he saw the depth chart and knew he wouldn’t get tons of reps? There were 5 QBs here, what could he have expected?
  3. How would Bell get money selling games they don’t have the rights to? DAZN plays the league for the rights to their games. Bell paid the league for the rights to their games.
  4. Thorne quit. He wasn't cut for lack of available time. Who says we didn't have reps?
  5. What are the odds on how many games for Jake before Dinwiddie changes his mind?
  6. Basically their salaries are set with $521K in hard money for the 2 of them, plus about $60K of playtime incentives each. I doubt either one is getting cut so salarywise doesn't matter who plays. https://3downnation.com/2026/05/04/highest-paid-quarterbacks-for-2026-canadian-football-league-season/ 9) Dru Brown, Ottawa Redblacks (A) Hard money: $321,000 Maximum value: $387,000 Browns’s 2026 compensation comes from a $150,000 signing bonus, $131,000 base salary, $15,000 in marketing money, $15,000 in housing, and a $10,000 travel allowance. He has an additional $66,000 available in playtime, statistical, all-star and award incentives. 10) Jake Maier, Ottawa Redblacks (A) Hard money: $200,000 Maximum value: $263,000 Maier’s 2026 compensation comes from a $94,600 base salary, $75,000 signing bonus, $15,400 in housing, $7,500 travel allowance, and $7,5000 in marketing money. He has an additional $63,000 available in playtime, statistical and award incentives.
  7. Isn't every NFL game on DAZN in Canada?
  8. Ya, I don't like having to use DAZN too but if the $$$ is really good for the league and will keep the league alive, so be it.
  9. So to watch all Bomber games will need to pay for TSN and DAZN accounts? Lovely
  10. Kenny is going to always get a lot of targets because he make crazy catches. When in doubt, chuck it up there.
  11. When? After he already signed in Ham?
  12. Kenny is an unreal talent and I loved watching him play. Consistent he ain't though. 2025 was is first season playing every game. Letting someone walk to become the highest paid non-QB in the league isn't the same thing as saying you don't want him on your team.
  13. Good for Kenny. Glad he's making bank if he's going to play somewhere else. Will be interesting to see how that 3rd year as the highest paid non-QB goes for a 34 year old receiver.
  14. Woodbey nice knock down Good pressure today
  15. He’s more of a veteran in that he’s played professional football before. Wilson shouldn’t have been kept around unless he had made major progress, so no big loss. Have to imagine they will bring someone else in, need at least 1 QB on the PR
  16. Love Woodbey, he’s a baller. Sky’s the limit with him
  17. Let's go!!!!!!! Winnipeg Blue BombersBlue Bombers Rookie Camp Primer - Winnipeg Blue BombersIt is a seven-hour audition spread out over three days and with a definite ‘outwit, out play, outlast’ Survivor-type feel to it all. One mistake, after all, could be critically devastating, just as on
  18. What kind of evidence for whether the thing they haven’t done yet working or not are you looking for? Scientific double blind study?
  19. Round one eliminates 2 teams. The losers of the 5v8 and 6v7 match ups.
  20. Just to visualize the new play off structure I looked at last year's standings. Bold are winner picked based on what happened or a guess for the new games. 1st round: Divisions showdowns, 1v2 in each division: BC @ Sask, Montreal @ Ham Play-ins, 5v8, 6v7: Tor @ Cal, Edm @ Wpg 2nd round: Elimination games: Cal @ BC, Wpg @ Ham 3rd Round: Grey Cup Semi-Finals: BC @ Sask, Ham @ Montreal (don't know who had the tie-breaker between BC and Ham, lower seed plays Sask, higher play Mon) CUP: Sask vs Montreal West DivisionRK TEAM GP W L T PTS F A HOME AWAY DIV 1 SASKATCHEWAN y 18 12 6 0 24 472 409 6-3-0 6-3-0 5-5-0 2 BC x 18 11 7 0 22 559 499 6-3-0 5-4-0 6-4-0 3 CALGARY x 18 11 7 0 22 488 416 6-3-0 5-4-0 7-3-0 4 WINNIPEG c 18 10 8 0 20 459 424 7-2-0 3-6-0 4-6-0 5 EDMONTON 18 7 11 0 14 422 490 5-4-0 2-7-0 3-7-0 East DivisionRK TEAM GP W L T PTS F A HOME AWAY DIV 1 HAMILTON y 18 11 7 0 22 525 496 5-4-0 6-3-0 7-1-0 2 MONTREAL x 18 10 8 0 20 445 430 4-5-0 6-3-0 6-2-0 3 TORONTO 18 5 13 0 10 497 583 3-6-0 2-7-0 2-6-0 4 OTTAWA 18 4 14 0 8 417 537 2-7-0 2-7-0 1-7-0
  21. Some changes to the cap and rosters sizes for 2026. I like the additional reserve roster and PR For the 2026 CFL season, both sides agreed $50,000 will be added back to the salary cap, totalling $6,330,514 per team. The salary cap cannot decrease while the current collective bargaining agreement is in place and all revenue sharing growth will continue to get added to the cap. Meanwhile, the players received permanent increases to weekly training camp compensation — first-year veterans will earn $725, second-year veterans $825, and three-year plus veterans $925. Starting immediately, each franchise will have the ability to designate up to two players on a reserve roster each week with no changes to the ratio or roster composition, creating 18 additional fully-paid jobs. Practice roster sizes have been increased by two, with a Canadian filling one of those new spots. Also, language has been cleaned up when it comes to the injured lists, marketing money, and Nationalized Americans. https://3downnation.com/2026/04/30/cfl-players-association-record-wins-through-2027-grey-cup-playoff-expansion/
  22. More details on the picks from Tait and Walters Winnipeg Blue BombersWalters: Blue Bombers CFL Canadian Draft takeaways - Winn...All across the Canadian Football League today GMs, head coaches and personnel types are still riding the post CFL Canadian Draft high. There are high-fives and fist bumps galore and the usual euphoriaOn Daniels they want him to cut weight and play that spot that Tui did in the heavy sets. Be a blocker and more of threat to catch a pass.

  24. Same problem the NFL solved by adding a 17th game $$$. No room to add more games to the regular season in the CFL so adding playoff games.
  25. I'm not saying it was a good idea but none of us have any idea who would have been available in later rounds. This draft proved again that none of the CFL, TSN, or 3downnation guys have any clue where anyone will be drafted beyond the first few guys.
