  1. Lapo sure is scooping up former bomber cuts..and coaches..former players as coaches it seems
  2. That Ross looks really intruiging..could be a dark horse..and seems very invested in blocking when not the primary..would fit in well here Also he is a pure hand catcher too..me like
  3. Pretty good vid on Harris and pretty much shows he was the engine that this offence ran through...and some pretty amazing runs and plays from one season alone..what caught my eye more though was the down field blocking of the o-line on a lot of it, and how dominant they were, and the work the receivers did in that offence when not pass catching..total team buy in and working for each other
  4. yeah...true..but lest just look at modern franchises, ..like ones still around...makes it much sweeter haha
  5. When you add in Ottawas as a whole..Redblacks and Rough Riders...then that drops Sask to dead last...bottom...least....or most pathetic..I think as a whole Ottawa has won 7
  6. hey...did you know we won the grey cup 27 days ago....and Riders a little over 2100 days ago??...case we all forgot hahahaha
  7. yes..Alexander there allowed us to do a whole new thing, and as we gradually implemented it over last few games, and into play-offs...teams had no real answer to it
  8. and to be honest..to further agree on that, I hardly recall Alexander blitzing, he was taking things away with coverage...Maston took over the role of blitzing and did very well in doing so...we played a limited and pretty predictable defence with Loff and Hecht...by necessity and due to their limitations
  9. ye true...But Loffler's cover skills were putrid...rarely in a position to make or defend a play properly
  10. Yeah having a cover guy there as opposed to basically just run support, which was what we were getting from Loffler, and later Hecht allowed us to do a lot more coverage and scheme wise last year.
  11. Of the two DB's looking at NFL opportunities I would say Sayles will have a better chance, or more likely a chance at an offer moreso than Rose. Rose albeit very good, does not fit the mold they look for as an NFL db visually/staturewise...which is BS as the NFL fixates too much on this stuff, but it's the CFL's gain for these tweeners and smallish guys they turn nose down on. Sayles may get a camp invite, but have a hard time seeing him stick though, did a few PR stints and being 25 now, will be competing for a roster spot/PR spot with draftees...both guys are in tough, and may be gone till mid-season, but can see them back at some point
  12. So many good memories in important games at our alternate home stadium....so many
  13. Yeah...total hater now
  14. Seen him spewing BS on their site..I couldn't be bothered to retort back
  15. was there....but no workout as he can't at moment as he is still knicked up and unable to
  16. obviously I am bored at work btw
  17. I fixed the above clipping for the Rider media...
  18. Mine is that it should be "shitty"
  19. couple weak assed teams
  20. to keep the position,,,and god knows why one freely shoose to live there, you have to act uneducated and for lack of a better term...dumb as well as say outrageous things to keep the fan base happy and think they are the creme de la creme of all things CFL....Or there will be more telethons on the horizon
  21. All i can say to that if true..WTF for????
  22. As per Adam Bighill...explains a lot of what we saw on the field at the Grey Cup eh? “We were practicing outside every single day, they were practicing inside every single day,” Bighill said from Winnipeg. “They started their Day 1 practice finishing the practice with victory formation, so their mindset was different from ours. I’ll definitely say that. “We have the blue collar mindset and we’re not afraid to put in the work. We’re not afraid of the weather. We truly had a really strong mentally, and physically, tough team. As we went into that week, I kinda noticed those things and I thought, mentally, we were gonna have a big edge on ’em”.
  23. ahhh yes....sorry for my foolishness
  24. Wonder if he loked at their sad sack roster and saw they had basically no O-line right now other than Labatte and Shepley..One guy on serious decline and injury riddled..and one guy who right now is average at best...and they have Marshall..Gainey and Moncreif unsigned...what a Penison Clone he has become
  25. from a Rider press release...best chuckle I have had in a week or so....man that media there sure has to tow the BS line fairly tightly Schram (6’4 – 312 lbs) returns for his third year with the Green and White after a strong showing in 2019 where he played in 10 regular-season games on the Riders’ offensive line. Schram was part of a nearly unmovable offensive line
