Thing is tho..he will be 28..29 when he can try again..and dont believe he has PR eligibility as well would be above minimum wage too..so his window most likely is effectively closed...unless he puts up some insane crazy stats up here and in that event it's good for us. He may garner top end WR up here..be happy with that and being a mega star big fish in small pond and just stay...he seems legit happy and enjoying football again

I see it as a team game and wins are a culmitave result of what is working for the team in each game to win. Nichols and others on offence are being toned down to so what's needed to win..and nothing more..nothing fancy or gaudy stats wise as that's what they are being told to do..more or less. Recal 3 yrs ago..Nichols was putting up fancy stats..good yardage and consistant 30+ points games..and we lost a lot..and he played more wide open cause we had to.. If your winning..and utilizing your great run game..and tough defense then why risk turnovers and the chance to let a team get back in the game just to fatten the stats line and appease fans and critics?? And people can go back to the last playoff game and say yeah but hey..we didnt produce points when it mattered..well playoff ball is a different beast..weather has effect and a lot of that blame has to go on Lapo..for all his good traits he needs to grow a pair and not coordinate like a Nancy Boy and "hope" to not make any errors..that's wherein lies the issue.. and regardless right now..we are winning..the formula is working and as the season progresses our defense is gonna get better and allow us to win more often than not most games where we put up 23..25 points..so why play stupid?

I hated and know many a player who hated, and under performed in a rotation...and in my opinion it's not worth the time or effort to continually do it over and over..and over...Guys aren't that gassed or need that many breaks and if/when they do...well then like back in the day you let coaches know u need to sub out...I truly don't get all that rotation...pretty hard for a unit to get in a groove when they are in and out. You play your starting 4 guys 80..85 percent of snaps if you ask me.. O-lineman aren't rotated constantly in a game..over and over and over...and if they were your run game would blow and QB wouldn't know wtf was going on or get in any rhythm as well...and O-line is way more taxing than d-line over the course of a drive..so this nonesense they need to do it to keep guys fresh etc..etc...etc...is a load of crap if you ask me...and if guys are getting bagged out playing 3-4 snaps in a row then don't roster them...cause thats a pathetic pro athlete

YEAH there are some things he needs to maybe get better at, and maybe at times show some bravado and take control of a game and go off and show he can be a difference maker...if he has to That being said he doesn't seem to have to in this offence...he plays in a way where he gives us a chance to win and score points, and doesn't...or rarely make, or force stupid plays or chances to hinder us winning...and I am totally cool with that Also is it his fault our run game is so successful and a big reason we win, and our offence revolves around it?..no it's not, but history shows most successful teams are predicated on a strong ground game and strong defense, and can win with Nichols like QB'ing Heck our team history alone proves that and our last 2-3 cups were won with game manager QB's basically, and one (Salsbury) who for a lack of a better term...sucked

I watched Exume on all the coverage plays and he is good...he may not got the stats, but he was being watched...and he help his lanes and forced returners into the teeth of the coverage...mission accomplished on teams and whats supposed to happen
-
BUT...now they have some nice coin set aside for NFL cuts by Lofflers being off the books...That cagey ol rascal Kavis....he snookered everyone
-
generally on a reception if you don't secure the ball after the first initially contact it's an incomplete...especially when the receiver has not secured it and commenced advancement....if he had maybe secured and took a step they "could" have ruled it a fumble but that one was obvious
-
I as well as others had zero concern in FA when we lost JSK...and my belief we would be even better as I seen Wilson as a more athletic player...which he has showed already..and he will get better...I also think once he gets more established and comfortable he is actually gonna make Biggie even more successful...now whoda thunk that eh? He (Wilson) already has 9 defensive tackles for the season and that is after missing last part of game one..so obviously has shown a knack for making plays
-
yup...this game is totally gonna help us morph into a more explosive group...bona fide threat now with at least 3 receivers, plus the Harris factor Other thing of note...Kyrie Wilson in no way shape or form is going to have us miss JSK...He is a baller..always around the ball and scary thought..is gonna get better...guy is solid as solid can be
-
this game was probably an eye opener now for many DC's...Lucky has established himself as a serious threat and will have to have attention payed to him and defeses converge on him as if he gets the smallest if openings..he could be gone...this is going to really open up things for others (especially Adams and Matthews) and we are going to be able to stretch more now with one on ones, and run more deeper layered routes...

GOOD teams win stinkers...how many times over the last many years have we been on the other end of these games...times have chamged and I think we have evolved now into one of the good teams now 2 wins when in both games we havn't really put it all together yet..still feeling our way and if we continue to gel and not get too cocky can conceivably see us at 5-0 when we meet Hamilton in week 7 -

That d-line of ours makes teams have to skirt the rules to keep them at bay, -
First thing first...a sign of a good team is when you still win parts of team playing sub par...which we did...Offence seemed to be out of sync all game save for some great individual plays by some guys. Not very often Harris fumbles and loses the ball twice in a game, let alone twice in a year. Not sure whats up with Fenner, is it scheme or is it ability but he is better than that, that being said I see why we kept Rios around and not too worried about defense as a whole, they are needing some gel time and the d-line hasn't revved up yet but allowing only what..1 offensive T.D in 2 games against Reilly and Harris while not firing on all cylinders makes you just be giddy thinking of what they will do when they are firing on all cylinders. Jefferson though no fancy stats yet is a disruptive force and what he does out there, and attention he draws allows others to make plays...also he is seeing a lot of doubles and line play schemed to take him out of making big time plays...but either way it still benefits the defense as a whole. And as Mike mentioned...it's not about luck making the stops..I'll take a game plan all day allowing a team to move the ball between the 20's but if they can't score TD's thats a win. Oliviera is done for a while, it was either a bad dislocation or break of his ankle/leg as when he rolled out of the pile up it was twisted and pointing the wrong way..but we are in good shape as we have Augustine chomping at the bit, and I think right now he brings even more anyway, but sucks to lose Oliviera The o-line I think has basically solidified that they are no longer a concern and are going to be at the worst a very good line, quite possibly one of best..again once they get more games under their belts. Lucky..what can you say...get ball i his hands and give him a sliver of a seam, or any space at all and he is gonna be a threat to take it to the house at any time, and from anywhere on the field..this games was huge as teams have taken notice now and he is going to have attention on him now which will only open up space for the rest...Also even tough Nichols played a very up and down game, but the offence as whole did too...I'll still take his 3 td vs 1or zero Int and 180 to 230 yard performance when it just keeps accounting for wins

yeah good luck to him trying to cover Matthews on some deep middle plays..
-
obviously most teams didn't see much value in this guy for some reason but the desperate for depth bottom feeder Riders did...things you have to do I guess when you suck
-
pretty sure they are synced just fine...regardless his presence on the field is going to open up space for someone else..and he's certainly going to factor into at least 5 or 6 catches for a whack of yards, and you can't over look his red zone presence and attention he is gonna garner..
-
and probably a major factor in why we didn't invest money in him..as we would have been well aware of his injury/rehab/issues Wilson I think will be the better all around player anyway Also if this line plays well again tonight...then it's obvious they are going to be okay, so leave Neuf on the 6 game for the whole duration and save some cash and see what's up with Ackie..offer him some solid coin and that depth for us would do wonders
-
I wouldn't put too much emphasis on what they are classified as on the depth chart..Lapo moves guys all over, and part of the key to our schemes is all the guys are to know, and have plays made from multiple positions...
-
Lawler though skill set and body type wise would be redundant as well with Adams..Woli and Matthews..so I guess it's a pick your poison type of situation...I wouldn't want to have Demski relied on for returns if our dedicated returner went down...risk of injury and ball security if you ask me Whitehead also offers that super unknown right now and a huge threat to defenses...so we need to try and groom that.
-
Good looking depth chart..Whitehead is the obvious choice right now over Lawler with Matthews back..but we need to involve him and utilze what he can do, or else whats the point of him being in the lineup. I like the addition of Rios...he looked good and has size and also has been worked at Sam and all the backfield spots, so with him, Fenner, Gaitor and Alexander we have a lot of back field flexibility
-
who cares...they both can discuss whats going on with their personal anecdotes and goofy things they say...almost unfiltered..I could watch that for days
-
they need to put Dunnigan and Walby together as a play by play tandem..that would be just golden and the things that they would say would be priceless....for sure would boost TV ratings
-
nope..we were always told/taught to lead with our forehead straight through a guys chin/facemask
