From watching him and seeing he has technique...He had speed off the edge but for a rangy guy has a lot of power to move a tackle...He also contained well and came don nicely on runs....he needs play time to develop \Weitz has nothing that a kid straight outta college cant offer...and we have that already in Novack...Bailey played teams in pre-season and did just fine...has a motor that never stops D is a problem if one of...god save us both of WJ or Vaughters goes down as we then have no real ends....even if they don't we have no pure edge guy to back them up which in itself is dumb...Sure Adams can do it...but he better inside...and him inside makes life easier for our ends Weitz wasnt on roster last game...we didnt miss him one bit....sure he won't be a real noticeable guy this week either...we have a glut of ST guys as it is...not enough step in and take reps guys tho on defence Ayers didnt get reps on dline cause...well cause he is not a dline guy...nor has he ever been trained to be one...thats why. People have to stop thinking of Bailey as this run of the mill Global...cause he is not

J,Jones has played better than well before in the CFL....and did so in our pre-season....Guess I should have said definately would as opposed to could as now you are nitpicking And its not an opinion...I have had some people within the league ask me if Jones was hurt and why he not on active roster...or if it just a case of coaches preference....as it's insane he not I not worried about Wallace

Bailey tho wouldnt be a bottom of roster add tho...He would be a rotational piece on defence...as well as depth at a position we only have 2 guys rostered...both over 30 for that matter....thats the difference Of Weitz is taking rotational depth or comes in for injury....we are in a bad place That"s my issue with not rostering our best rosters...same with receiver...we have a National who was knicked...a back-up in a rookie Canadian with zero experience...and then........crickets....

Tony Jones would be the ideal DI and a guy with rotational reps....He's not an elite MLB by any stretch ....Adequate, but why settle for adequate when you don't have to?

yeah he was NCAA trained....and like ytou said...D-line once they rralize the 1 yard off rule can be dropped right in without issue... victim of the Osh rostering/bias...Our best all around LB and one who can lay a thump...Gets parked behind a old breading down vet who cant be relied on for 18 games...another journeyman guy who has holes in his game Pretty much the explanation there...release him and he is in any teams starting lineup the following week so imagine what Jones would have looked like....He heads and shoulders better than both.....but ...................................

T.O out time possesioned us by a horrible amount...they came in with a good coaching plan...adjusted when had to and had their best roster I have always said especially in that cup we were out coached..had a poor plan and didnt adjust...plus we had not our best options on roster Main reason we lost...some players sure may have seemed to not show up..or played bad...that's about coaching too...were they not properly prepared? Put in best positions to succeed? A lot goes into it..and the ZC decision after he got hurt was just icing on the cake...or nails in the coffin..take your pick...but our coaching staff cost us that game on several levels

Horrible...its like a awkward heave...he can throw on run decently...but as a stationary guy...or walking up in pocket...good gawd!! Has zero platform to throw from..let alone any base...like he has never been coached ..mind you he came out of CIS so probably had no qb coaching worth a lick

He was a menace on teams blowing people up...I sure he will Like to see him back on kickoffs with Vaval Just more of the same osh man rush crap that makes zero sense. Sure it may not kill us...but it again takez away the ability to roster our best roster...and eliminate any valuable experience to our actual guys who can play and then when really needed they arent green and prone to errors...like we have seen the refusal to play them as I sure part of reason because they not 100 percent comfortable with them so we play a positional group with zero depth...or injured guys who are useless...and we all have seen the results of that thinking when it mattered most

shocked he was back this yr actually....Mauro offered us more than Weitz and we let him walk for whatever reason I liked what Vanterpool gave us...but that being said Wallace has showed he can play and belongs....helps our roster ratio wise and at this point needs to play and grow..so I'm ok with it. Vanterpool definately is part of the future tho...and imagine the options if Manu lands in our lap next yr...it's his make or break this yr down south...so could happen If we designate 2 Canadians for ratio on defense and 5 on offence then Cooley can come in freely and be in a split backfield with Peterson so like that option. If Wallace fares well, Cooley continues to show what he did, we could possibly see BO....Cooley....Peterson...MCI all on roster for game 3...be an interesting group of guys in your RB group for Hogan and Jackson, and imagine Logan added to that mix in Vaval spot if they go that route

Bailey is good on teams...Weitz is also just a teams player and that's it...and isn't elite at it...so why bother Bailey has legit defensive reps ability and we only have 2 true ends dressed...no depth there at all but we have 11 linebackers...

Yeah wtf...I noticed last week too that the QB stats didnt show till later...not sure why they have that issue

I do like tho we went only 1 extra olineman....such a waste with the 2 especially with any number of big bodied dline guys who can come in for jumbo...MCI.... I'd have gave Mitchell a shot in Sterns spot to see what he offere when lights are on...especially with Cooley now on roster...Sterns isn't a game breaker by any means and really adds nothing to the offence....End that experiment...Mitchell and Cooley have ability to offer a lot

Weitz over Bailey....why?....If they didnt wanna go with another dline guy then may as well have used that spot on Cobb or any other Canadian...Weitz offers us nothing ...I guess another Osh Boner player with easy access to roster

Ford either can't...or won't sit in the pocket to let things develop if initial read isnt there....is it he can't read a defense....or he cant make throws from pocket to throw guys open....either way...if he not able to do anything other than school yard stuff I don't see much a future with him as a starting QB...And people say say Strev has a funky throwing motion but Fords is weird as ****....horrible mechanics and I see a shoulder injury coming at some point
