Feel bad for Lawler....sure he gets paid...but what a 180 he took going from a stable and first rate organization, to that dumpster fire...he also at times this yr looked non too happy there...but is what it is and Kudos to him ballin' his arse off for that team...man if we could swing a deal late in yr to get him back that would be huge Vernon for sure will keep the Lions competitive...much more than what they have, but not like Rourke...different style of QB's, and he will make some things happen there....but also see him giving up a ton of turnovers too in the process...but they had no choice and had to get somebody, and really he was the best available option

no...he can just sign for remainder of the yr...as would any returnee...they not roped into 2 yrs....cap wont be an issue for us either for 4 games if thats when he came up....he's got just as viable path to land here than anywhere...and as much as people dont wanna believe the former connections here...the comfort level...friendships etc....that will likely be the key in all it why he signs here....doubt it if you want...but its real

Generally a team will allocate a dline...oline...2 skilled position and usually a teamer type salary at varying price targets...and based on where projected backups may be on the roster toward the cap...even tho technically its isnt used yet...or may not be used so that moving forward into the season they have a better rough idea of what they have left as a buffer...and how to manage/project possible moves during the yr...so replacement salaries for some of our....if not all our guys has already been worked into the season cap for current salary requirements...so likely most the savings from guys we 6 gamed is actually available...that's what the smart teams do

People need to realize that is if on a pr the full yr...getting workouts...for the chance to land on one after TC isnt getting u paid..u need to be on one

And considering the top 4 salaries for OL guys in CFL for 2022 is 210k and 3 guys at 190k...with coutures savings..and anything else we have we have ample funds to get Desjarlais and Kongbo back if we choose.. and they want back in cfl for rest of yr...plus some guarantee of playoff money to.help sweeten the pot...if they look to return...we will be players and I sure their first choice will wanting to.be back...the bombers are all they know...as in culture and 2 rings Pretty sure Dobson's and Wilson's replacement were factored into the SMS..and u also have an injury aottment set aside for cap issues in as well...so that's money that was accounted for... You do know usually between 3 and 6 varying levels of salary are factored into a teams SMS as hard money not available for possible injury replacements eh?...so taking away some of the 6 game money isnt part of the equation...

Couture is making 145k base...187max...so his 6 games gives us 48 333 to throw in the pot...so his salary alone over next 7 games equates to a 124k a year salary..so paying a guy that for 7 games..less than half a season is nice chunk o change

I'm sure between 100..125k...he's a vet QB.. so most likely 6 figures I would think somewhere...couture is what..125 to 150k range...I sure BA is 6 figures...as well as Wilson...so u would think just on those guys we have ballpark 200..240k kicking around off the books at the moment..plus whatever Walter's had tucked away

pretty sure he was on PR all yr last year...and also has 3 other seasons of PR time..so he prob is got limited time...and not sure if looked at as an unlimited PR time guy... Kongbo was one who I figured would be the fur sure cut...and most likely to be back first....so that means now he prob sticks hahaha...they only have 5 spots to trim in Denver still....so....he could be a bubble guy

thing is Bryant has CFL experience...so could step in basically immediately....a guy new to CFL not so much on the line...And not sure who if any returnees there are that could shake free
