Thoughts on season to date.....even tho not finished, and even tho a Cup win at the end is the marker of success I am of the thought that regardless of what occurs now this has to be considered a success of sorts We have effectively had a pretty significant transition, tho not by choice it did happen....and somewhat alleviates the fear of going into a 2025 home Cup run that we would have leaned and relied on this aging and underperforming corp We will re-sign both Lawler and Schoen...you can bank on that and with the 3 young kids showing they have the chops....and another off-season and TC of growth we in good shape there, and any new body that blows the lights out in TC/Pre-season is just another bee in the hive for us Defensively I think we have found our 2 legit ends to compliment WJ in Garbutt and Person's....even tho you all havn't seen him take a rep...he's the real deal nd he was a legit NFL pass rush specialist prospect...they wanted him to gain weight for that role but he didnt go that route and he is a perfect blend for the CFL....So again even with Haba here and anyone else we bring in....we will have depth...Haba is a real nice 4th guy. WE have those 2 legit ends with WJ...and just let him loose to attack the QB with 60% of snaps...look out...Thats where he thrives D-line wise...Fox..Woods..Adams with another yr...only gonna get better...And logic has to tell you Lawson takes Thomas' snaps...god willing and again...thats a net positive....I don't hink Schmeck fits in there and Samson or possibly a 2025 draft pick or a Global takes his spot . That was a serious area of concern...last yr...going into this yr and a wholesale change for 2025 would likely not been the best way to go....and the fear of just rolling withThomas would have been the way Osh leans....Be interesting what Osh does with him next yr...is he even signed? Linebacker to...with Jones..Ayers...Cole...we are good...anyone who comes in and pushes them out...even better, and Biggie wont be back to Labour day earliest...and even then..age...body type...i have a hard time seeing him being in the mix...and id we cant unearht a new stud...Wilson as the DA...limited packages...depth...ST leader....we could do way worse We now need to tweak/fine tune the defense for most part in 2025...People love Holm but he really is the weak link...Griffin would offer a lot more...already does....and we are pretty good at finding DB's...I would think a role for Holm would be the 6th...and Nationalized and used in various spots....mainly that role they tried with Hallett....as he was continuously burned...interesting enough we haven't seem much of that of late so obviously the coaching did notice that....now time to notice SchmeckThomas I think our area of focus has to be mainly O-line and returner in free -agency/draft/scouting... I am fine with Bryant as he has not regressed and during the streak he was lights out...But there will be others in free agency to go after, and I can't not see us going after some....I would also be fine with Neuf back, but in the role of Wallace/Eli....and if Grant is available....I'd be all over that again...I'd also bring Lucky back to compete in camp all in all....we in good shape heading into 2025

they have stepped in a few times out of nowhere with some bizzare CC over turns....that one you mention being one....yet on a significant play that even to the initial naked eye looked like a clean pick...they just ignored it.....

so Saturday was Fan Appreciation day in Regina for that game....makes that crowd even more pathetic

yup...we are such an easy team to scheme against...mainly because opposition coaches know what we like to do, but key thing is they know we won't or will rarely deviate from our comfort calls, and know that Osh has the mentality that what we are doing....bar none is the way...and they exploit it....and that goes with players on the field...they know who he gonna put out....especially on the dline and teams I am sure have plays that as soon as they see Scheckthomas they go right at them...I know as a coach I would be going over film on our 12 guys on specific down/distance and circumstance and would have automatic plays called for it ....it's where we have been consistently out coached..we are so predictable in some regards it's almost silly...

I think we have that guy in Person's......wished he would have got a token game before season ended...I bet if he got in he wouldnt have been taken out I think we have some scheme going at times where e just want to bubble around the QB and keep him there and have him try and beat us with pocket passes....hence why at times WJ seems to be playing the knock down/contain When he is actually attacking...he is causing issues and with another guy on the other end....and yes Garbutt been getting better and better we can do some things....but when we run the 30 with Thomas...or Scmeck or those fronts with both....expecting/hoping for them to push and penetrate the pocket...well it rarely happens, and on any run play they just get washed right out of their gap, and have zero backside pursuit ability, and no lateral movement to get off and disrupt anything We should be running heavy rotations with Woods and fox at the center...with an end....or even 2 ends stacked together....And even some modified 30fronts with WJ as a true Jack....or even allowed to just freelance his way to the QB and let the boys clean up. And Adams should be used all over the line...and even dropped off and coming downhill once he see's what the offence is doing...for a big dude he closes fast and he knows how to tackle Especially with Jones and Griffin, and Cole when in who fly and come down hard on anyone who gets past the dline...to me it looks like we are almost intentionally running a passive front to funnel the play to our backers and HB's....but that is fine when it's working...you also need to change it up and actually run it different up front with actual pressure...we seem to not be doing that

too many times actually....and also late in the game when we needed to get ball back....baffling Especially when due to ratio...we really don't need to have a Canadian in that spot....If/when it Lawson...who is a force it would be fine as a nice rotation and specific scheme guy....but those 2....yeeesh....I bet neither would get on a roster elsewhere

HE IS...I think that more tongue in cheek about why some guys seem perfectly fine...yet are "injured" I know for a fact last yr Parker was frustrated and good to go 3..4 weeks before he finally got back in...and thank god he did as he saved the season

based on our last few rosters.....coaching is my only concern....and how we use said roster We shat the bed all year and neither off the 2 west teams in the WSF could over take us....big game at home...neither scare me....may put up a decent game but we should prevail....we need to come out fast..smart and clean....avoid any injuries and we should be in B.C that is huge...can't be understated the win and your in aspect with securing the WF

if we are properly prepared....and coached.....and apt to make the adjustments on the fly...we should come away with the Dub

best fan base tho...bar none...yeah right!!....nothing beats a jam packed Bomber home game for atmosphere and intensity....and none looks better on T.V as well And talking to players...playing here the crowd noise is a different beast they claim....the way the seating is...the sound is right on you, and you literally feel it and it is pretty ominous and intimidating.....kudo's to our crowd Lot of players I know who have played in the NFL and for big NCAA schools say the noise and atmosphere rivals many places down south

curious what kind of jam packed it's gonna be for the WSF And for this so-called great fanbase...travels well...yadda yadda yadda...that attendance for a crucial last game that had huge implications was brutal....and on a nice day to boot.....they travel sowell yet they cant drag their toothless masses to that craphole city?....and they don't travel well to road games...those are escapees and deserters

If happy good Vaj shows up...I see that...Sask secondary is suspect and bad, even with Mr. MODP..MOP....and really nobody in the Sask receiving corp screams dangerous.....and you have Harris at the helm....guy will wilt and fade...always does, so if it gets into some kind of shoot out...I dont see Sask keeping pace with a dialed in Vaj....just hope they both slap the crap outta each other and come in beat up and tired...tho don't think it gonna matter

yeah.....unless we come out with an epic brain fart game...I cannot see either team taking us out...BC is flawed, and we have their number Sask....secondary sucks...they still undisciplined and Harris is not a big game QB...and let him try and nickel and dime his way all game. I also expect Younger to have a tweak/twist that we been sitting on....but home game...in Nov....and it a WF....the stadium atmosphere alone will be ominous and i a huge advantage

We seem to be more apt to doing the Rip and tear...I never liked that mindset The lack of practices...padded...and disregard of technique is reason for the piss poor tackling...even tho they pros...u still need the reps
