Yeah Maston was the better player, and probably came in at a better price too coming off injury. Darby I hated to see go tho even with the Maston re-up, and having BA not able to start the season he would have been the automatic safety option as he has excelled there before, and now he would have just shifted back to SAM ....oh well...can't keep em all. Ruts looks like a guy who can fill the role, and having a vet secondary around him is gonna help a ton, and they will communicate to him what/where/why In game...Not too concerned

I think we won more games despite our OC...not a fan of no-balls in play calling....he's had some success yes....can't deny it....but isnt this grand wizard that many make him out to be....lost in this too...is that Buck had way more input into what went on with the offence then many know, or give credit for....there is a reason our offence was way better, and way more rounded and balanced last year...cause the shackles were off and we played to attack teams...just look at how many receptions the running back's got last year, as opposed to Lapo years...and it wasnt a boatload of them in Lapo's time from being a read progression and nobody was open...it was the primary read, as our playmakers were most times motionless....trying to engage and set up blocks...and when teams keyed on Harris and the dump wasnt there....do u not recall us bemoaning about receiver's catching balls stationary, or basically right in front of a defender, and no yac? It's cause that scheme was piss poor and panty waisted, and we won despite it......We were lucky Harris was the beast he was and got the yards he did as our scheme was flawed and not very creative the defence and special teams won that....the offense basically just had to play clean...and we got a monster game from Harris...wasn't from Lapo...if you wanna give credit to a coach for winning us our first cup then throw it at Hall x2....and a lesser extent the oline coach agreed....and not sure why that once a player throws on that pukey looking color....they all turn into Grad A jackoffs on the field....is it page one of the playbook and their culture?...

Xfl as well will be significantly less...he wants to continue to play at the best possible $ value outside of the NFL...it's in Canada...and I bet if it came down to it for this yr..and we were outbid by someone...he would come here..unless it's an insanely crazy number...but really all teams already have their starter at starter money other than BC...so his pro rated pay will be limited ...for this yr Crazy thought mentioned before..but if ZC was to go down early with significant injury..his salary is off the books...I wonder if Reilly would seriously consider if approached...behind this line...if not...I'd give Strev a good portion of what collaros got and just roll with his moxy

Yeah...I never got the guru connection either...not sure who or how that started but TSN just took it and ran with it. He was a decent OC but also his time here a lot of it was a product of him being lucky to have some of the exceptional personell he was provided. Buck and his offence was leaps and bounds better and was wayyy less likely to be stalled out...and go in prolonged funks in game...I attribute a lot of that to Buck not trying to be the smartest guy in the room...and realizing that going back to what works...works best....Lapo would run a successful play..totally taking advantage of scheme/personell....and you'd never see it....again...

I think Buck would be the best thing to happen for Strevs if and when he comes back..Lapo was slowly ruining him and making him take way too much uneccesaary contact

why does Jamie Nye yap about Rider depth at receiver in regards to last nights game....a bunch of nobodies doing basically basic standard stuff a pro should do against another basic group of nobodies?....I guess we should have extreme depth as we had probably the better big plays...more yards and won?...what a tool Their 2 projected starters...albeit not in game long didn't tear things up...

i'd say the Riders too....lol....and not just cause its fun to rag on the Rider's, but Faj ain't the guy who will get it done, as much as TSN wants to push that narrative....Can't recall who said it on air...but basically they were bang on in saying 2021 Faj was the corrected version...he surprised people his first yr, and bulk of his 'decent" play was in first half of yr...but once there was film he started to wilt...especially when it was know his intermediate and deep shots were lame ducks...he was successful at first as teams didnt expect him to go long...and were caught off guard...look back at a lot of his initial deep shots...receiver had to stop...come back....leap and make a circus catch...was horseshoe up da ass plays...and he is mentally weak as seen last 2 yrs...and not a real leader as you would never see a leader toss his receivers under the bus...or whine like he did about social media

I think people underestimate Strev's throwing ability...he was doing quite well as a raw as can be raw rookie his first yr....and in yr 2 was never allowed to work on, or develop as a more proficient passer...was soley used as a run first...gimmick/confusion QB ....and that falls directly at the feet of LAPO and stagnating is development....like many a receiver that came thru here. you can argue this about LAPO as much as you want, but I know for a fact a few receivers balked at coming here because they didn't want to hurt their earning power being in his offence in future deals... Strev has been away now since 2019....you don't know how he has developed, and also he wouldn't have bounced around in the NFL as a one trick pony....thats not how they work....he was behind 8 ball from get go being a recruited CFL guy...undrafted...along with other NFL politics, and seen that as soon as he left, and that it would be a continuous merry go round from back-up/PR to Back-up/PR....hopefully now he has banked some dollars and wants to get back to actually playing at a decent salary If he makes it known he has given up on the NFL...It should be a no-brainer that Kyle brings him on....Prukop is the easy decision to be gone, as well as his salary which has to be over 100k....and you make it work...if it means we dont go hard at NFL cuts...so be it as we will be getting an addition in BA at some point which will be just as big as an NFL cast-off I also believe the narrowing of the hashes will be extremely beneficial to some one like Strev as db's and LB's are gonna have to start respecting the outter edges now, and a lot of cheating may be going on pre snap, and it will open up a lot of running lanes I also recall when he first arrived here...after practice before he was signed and was put through all the route tree routes and if he could make the throws, and he killed it...and also was put through paces of target practice and hitting the net at various spots on the filed...and killed that too...and I was like who the eff is this dude??.... He gave us a chance, and was vital for us in helping winning a cup...one one leg...imagine what a healthy, and yes more polished Strev would do with this offence, and majority of guys he's familiar with.....make it hapen

yeah that was brutal...tried to cut him....guy rolled over..recovered...and was in QB face....but OK OK...I see u hahaha his one drop tho, he was screened out and likely didnt see the ball well until it hit him...I'm not gonna use that as a negative...plus Bailey does so much more in the "actual" offence.....he is as safe as safe can be
