Or just flat out say if an Import is in his 4th year with same team...He can be Considered a Canadian starter...all game as the 8th...and you can sub an American DI in for any other Canadian on that side of the ball....freely...you can have one on offence...one on defence, and if you meet that restriction, you are allowed to roster an additional Canadian on your roster as a bonus

they just need to better clarify it.....I like the rule, and incentive for teams and players to maintain continuity My take is it should be 2 tiered...3 yrs min with same team....you can play say 30 snaps a game for a Canadian starter 5 years or more....You can play as many as you feel the need...but the canadian being replaced has to play min. 15 snaps....unless injured...easy peasy

and when Hansen comes back...Mauro sees the bench anyway...no knock against him, but Karamoka would serve more use in the meantime...and not hamstring yourself so much with DB depth

no reason we couldnt have replaced Mauro for Karamoka....dude could play db...Likely Will as well in a pinch....prob offer just as much off edge as a rusher like Mauro does at times..... so whole sale changes to cover one spot....dumb

I think you have to declare one tho on each side...and declaring one allows us to sit out Jake for 23 snaps in place of say...a Caleb Thomas if he ws dressed...Or allows us to have Haba and the Jeffs all together None the less...Typical Oshea to not utilize the heck out of this was just gonna say that....too many moving pieces to fill an in game injury when you dont have to do that...his use of his roster really does suck...as does who chooses to PR

Like that Haba gets on to rotate...Rather see Cole get a shot at Will....sit Clements and go with Thomas.....that or go Canadian there....interesting no back-up DB really either..so if someone gets hurt...or routinely torched...whats the plan?...and who is the nationlized Canadian on each side of ball....

teams I have been on....guys busted nuts...and went above and beyond daily...thats your job...guys who didnt...got weeded out and released...I can see your narrative and reasoning...and sure that scenario...but I doubt that happens when season is still in balance....maybe end of yr yeah when the standings are set. you work hard as it is your job...and if the player ahead of you is hurt, and you need to step in and be the next man up you are prepared and ready......anything less is a ticket outta town....

and the way this team is constructed...and self policed....every player is busting their ass....regardless of roster status...or they would be in house addressed...and or cut he was here all yr...if he wasnt ready for a game...then wtf was he still even here for then?....that logic makes no sense to me

if guys aren't busting their ass off day in and day out...they should be cut....plain and simple....getting a "reward" for trying super hard, at the expense of a player who had use on the roster...is a stupid as stupid thing you could do....and can work in reverse and cause at times opposite reaction from players....no matter how tight a room is....players...especially vets dont like coaches playing "favorites"...seen it first hand....you may not hear about it...or see it...but the rumblings and underlaying player reaction is there

yeah they can be...but in said game we had an import receiver go down....and he still didnt get to see the field....that was the baffling part of it, and I know full well guys can get rewarded for putting in the effort...thats how guys surpass others...but also....to waste a roster spot in a game...basically for nothing and possible detriment to the outcome...is ...well stupid and so not neccessary

if or when...he makes an impact play...I will give him praise...will for any player.....but havn't seen any yet....and he is a waif....not good in traffic and isnt good run support....havnt been wowed by his tackling ability either....who cares if he has feet like Fred Astaire....lotsa guys look sooooo damn good in practice....any game he has been in....point out a wow play?...or a difference making one...I have seen zero

exactly....very odd at times...almost seems like some stubborn bias he is harboring...who knows...we just lucky we had the talent and locker room attitude to overcome some of it Some aren't saying he doesn't know the new rule...or won't learn it...But I have my doubts he will maximize it's use like prob 99% of the other teams...cause thats just how he is...He will yammer on that all the guys are starters....we will run out our players like usual....see no need to do that as our Canadians are all starter material...etc...etc....Like he always does, and I bet that in a game or 2 we will have a chance to capitolize on it's use...but he won't...cause he is Mike Oshea...and we will eat a loss Dont get me wrong.....love Osh and what he built here...but I have complained about his roster management and over sight in areas....for yrs...his one fault

It would just be like Oshea to not utilize it, as he is sometimes stubborn and pig headed, and to prove "his" point...which at times are out to lunch...and then we get in a injury situ, where if we took full advantage of it, and used it to better ourselves...we end up with a big fat L instead...I can see that happening....for all his excellent qualities and traits he still has a few that he needs to put away and stop trying to go against the masses, or to prove some kind of point. Like last year when he took away the end rotations with Mack and Wilcots and downsized the dline numbers saying they seen something and wanted to try something else...and we basically sucked doing that trial...and he never evered back...and actually dumped Mack...traded Wilcotts...tho Darbt=y was needed...and then added a less than useful Adams for the playoff run....like wtf was that??!?!

most fans will be totally oblivious to it, and not even know anything diff is even happening
