Rider fans....coaching...media are sure going all gaga on their moral victory....the articles and comments on it are quite cute and amusing thinking they have turned this corner...I guess a good possible one off game will do that to un uneducated fan base and media horde.....They should have not beaten the Elks, and their QB tosses up 400 yards against us...when we played arguably one of our poorer games on defence, yet they lost by 3 scores...at home....failing to realize that we had a DT in on defense who literally had 1 real practice...a DE who has been here for 3 minutes, and we are missing our other starting DE...WIL...HB and Corner...Top special team player, and Lawler....they bemoan their injuries, but missing Walker and Marshall is hardly a detriment, Moncreif has been owned by Demski/Schoen and ZC and other than that...what else they missing?....not much of any concern to be honest

Of all mentioned....Walters prob would be the least of a hit to lose...that being said, I doubt we lose anyone....coaches know when they have it good, and have security....why leave that when you don't have to. The players we bring in are basically from the scouting staff, and their network/connections, not so much from Walters bird dogging them....He works the salary part of it, and makes the SMS work, but we have a pretty good blueprint now, and some solid yrs to refer to, on how we have managed the cap, and the way we have been navigating it to not hamstring ourselves. It's not some utra secretive thing only Walters knows, so in that regard we will be fine. Factor in that with the core we have, and the continued culture here, we have that ace in the hole we won't have to break bank to get guys here, and or keep guys here...as history the last 3-5 years has shown

yeah....I havnt seen much yet...but also think he needs to, and will be working himself back to CFL shape and body composition...he's not suited at moment to an outside guy here...Looked a lil thick and slow

I agree...with no viable backup behind Johnny using him as a fulltime starter until BO is back if it more than 2..3 games isnt ideal, and I as well don't see Mcrae a a legit every down back for us....

nothing on the redblack's offence stands out in any way....it's pretty bad That being said, they have a pretty dam good defence, and some real play makers, and their ST's are well above average...they say defence wins championships....but thats also with a competent offence to go with it....most people fail to consider that part

Liked what I saw of Fox for only being here a day or so prior to the game. He definitely had some impact out there

Scoen prob getting some well needed R&R...He has taken some big shots last 2 games...he'll play....I didnt see anything concerning witht he 2 db's as well...so assume both will be good to go

well then you should also take out the bottom 10% no?...to make it a consistent avg?...Take out any rb's top 10% of runs and their avg drops as well...and prob more for a RB that logs 15 to 20 carries a game...as a higher percent of carries are closer to the bottom 10 percent than top I'm not advocating tht JA is just as good....but also in a 1 game fill in...he wont hurt us, and has shown that in his few starts....Would I prefer we bring back Salima?...100% as don't understand why we didn't PR him anyway...Mcrae to me doesnt strike me as an everydown RB...ONe who could grind out the grimy yards at end of a game to kill the clock....

Kelly had a good first half..so so 2nd...and it was the ticats defence which of yet hasn't looked too good...see how he is doing game 6..7..8...but he does have a good arm...may become the poor man's MIke Reilly and of the chuck and duck
