Reviewing some game now...If we gonna give Jackson that DA role again work him into the defence more then...he was a key part of that 3rd down denial..he was brought in as a de/lb...use him as such Further to Dline...if you want a good example of why I say Thomas is toast and he should have minimal reps...look at the first play..Mizzel run after the Lawler TD...around the 8:20 mark...just utter useless..and could barely run up to follow play down..he's done That first punt return when still 0-0...damn lucky he didn't cough that up ...very likely could have been a BC first down inside our 20...and totally changed that game...lucky lucky there .. Lawlers first catch too...just 5 man oline and perfect block picked up by BO

3 for sure...which basically mitigated any return...Grant is so valuable you dont notice until he is missing....we have lost the field position game within the game since he was out save for the 1 game we let Parker do it...If he not back in next week thats just lame...plus the fact he is valuable on defense and is great on kick coverage...not to mention probably the best pure tackler on the team next to Wilson

so BC went from giving up an avg of 13 points a game to 18....we average 20 given up...seems the tables are turning...Wonder if TSN nad other media clowns will focus on our defense now instead of tooting the BC horn over and over

McCrae isn't a punt returner...never has been...we removed 2 guys off the roster who have done it...and done it well....plus can cover 2..3 spots on defense...We don't need Mcrae on offence with all our guys back....but we do need depth on defense...and a true returner until Grant comes back

thats where I am at as well Ottawa loss was a direct result of poor roster management...defence was gassed allowing Crum to make those 2 huge runs.....we had no depth...and it killed us...go rewatch his 2 td runs....guys just couldnt make the play...multiple guys...cause they were bagged right out....it happens....and go look back to our dominant...almost unworldly defence of 2019...and 2021...we rotated 7...8 guys on the dline, and had adequate back-ups at LB and DB....last yr around where we dumped Mack III and traded away Wilcott's and didnt adequately replace him...our defence has not been the same since Thats cause the Bombers won...they prob had several stories ready to go to flaunt the BC win and say the Bombers fell to also rans....and we screwed that plan for them I thought maybe he was onside too with that sidewinder punt.....was weird none the less

That's just one example..everyone can cherry pick the good..and bad of the decisions on roster...but an example of Schoen and BO... undeniable starters is pointless And we lucky our offence was staying on field putting up points so our defence did t get bagged out with 4 quality Dline man and 2 others who are below avg at best...and luckily bad Evans showed up...then got hurt and the worst QB in the league had to play...we won that's all that matters..but we could field an even stronger roster that likely could be unbeatable now that the offence seems to.be on same page...but flame away...winning always masks deficiencies

I agree...if he don't get his way...aka their line being quasi offside often...they as a group disappear...watched our tackles and te's in the big sets...totally schooled and controlled the doucher...he just looked deflated midway thru 2nd Qt The lean Dline last yr yes cost is in the overall scheme of things too ..and sadly that yr we did have some options...we traded one...dumped one

In a ,closer game...those 3 almost fumbles on pints could kill us...could have totally changed game last night too...bullet dodged And wearing out a Dline game in and game out gonna come back to haunt us and cost us games The Ott loss was a direct result of that..those 2 Crummy runs were direct result of that with Dline being gasped and not able to pursue let alone tackle...and same with weak assed LB depth with Briggs grabbing at air. Still don't get the Kramdi love..he liability out there and when Cole was nin all he did was make plays or cause havoc...and Jackson...that's a waste..sure he balls out and does a decent job...but not needed unless he can take meaningful reps on defence...that oline play last night was basically result of oline playing like they capable of...not due to a da fullback....that group of bears was poked...expect them to eat rest of yr..they were on a mission Lawler brings this receiving group to a different level..knew he was good...but man..what a huge guy to have our there...300 yards in 2 games...and he and ZC just warming up ..happiest guy out there gotta be Schoen now...he gonna have sooo much room..and then teams still need to shut down Demski ..Woli and Sheed....and look over their Shoulders for BO coming to truck them...speaking of which BO hasore than enough explosion and burst to rip a big run as we saw in the 27 yard TD where he just flew through this supposed fast extreme good tackling BC second level...he's the most complete back in the league in my opinion...as we haven't even fully exploited teams with his receiving yet

We didn't win because of the roster, and the concerns it was mismanaged were unfounded....Mcrae was scary as Fack handling punts and bobbled 3 where we could have turned that ball over deep in our end and it been real game changer...thts why taking off Parker was dumb...we got lucky there....and we were an injury away on the dline of being right screwed...and was noticeable on drives where one the Jeffs was not out there....we were way less effective The offence came to play and lit the house right up....due to all the projected STARTERS ....Not some funky roster juggling Oshea did.... see above post.
