there are 4 besides Fox that I have seen that offr way more....and factor in we dont even need a National one for any reason other than rotation and fill our overall Canadian content makes it even more convenient for us to dress an import interior with only one Nat as rotation. And I doubt any interior guy will get an extra thought...other than to push Fox, and even he is probably the defacto starter based on he was here before...tho it's the right choice this time, and he should have already been in the mix in 2023....I'd bet my left nut Jake and Schmeckle are all ready pencilled in as the 2 guys on the roster game 1...regardless if anyone else blows the doors off in camp...sad reality how Osh makes his roster....

which is still too many....I will say that I am more than confident to predict that Jake will be the starting DT...backed by Schmeckle and we will rarely if at all see any sets without one or other on field....Gauthier in the middle, Ford on the corner (which I like) tho Cole will man SAM....we will start 9 Nationals for no other reason than thats how Osh operates and he will give a smug non informative reason for it other than "they are all number 1's" or something along those lines...but wont roster anything DI wise or other to take advantage of free rotation with no ratio juggling We will dress FOX and WJ as imports on the D-line and 1 rotational guy likely as an end...and we only get that privledge because Bennett wasn't good to go and cut....Only one of moses or Gemmel/Petrishen will dress if we are lucky.....thats home opener defensive lineup .....and that is pretty sad...Prove me wrong Osh....please...just once just watch him jogging around behind plays all tippy toed with zero impact...happens way too often

as much as I still dont think Schmeck amounts to much (hope I wrong) I would rather he gets rostered, and just spells guys off as well from an all Import Dline starting group....He at least can move around well, pursue and move laterally to try and impede a play...Thomas can't....and tired of watching him backside of a play lolly gaging and jogging up to the pile...if the play isnt funnelled right to him...he basically has zero impact...

It's more a matter of giving guys a legit chance....real opportunity...Other teams have done thjeir own recruiting and you see new guys in starters roles...or legit talent earning their chops on the roster on teams....and PR's.....not so much here...only time a new guy gets a shot is if there is a total void and nobody comig back...example Schoen...Strev...Nichols and Alford....That being said....a lot of our cuts and guys we do release get scooped up.... Also...You dont know truly what you hav if you dont give a guy a shot...Example again..Strev...Alfors/Nichols....Stove.....but you do what your scrubs offer...and cant offer Menard at this point would offer more than Thomas...Scmecks...Bennett....hopefuly he not back..Kornelson.....and he brings vet presence....what a lot of posters lobby for why Thomas is key...even tho he offers nothing other than a warm body now

I am now having the same hunch unfortunately That...or we may keep some....but won't see the roster due to the afore mentioned hard trying foot soldiers...who have no business as starters or heavy use rotation pieces...

how does playing 2 import DT's negate continuity?...with whom?....You play WJ/HABA/lets say Garbutt..Fox/Lets say Woods....and toss in Schmeckle as he the only viable Canadian available to us now who has possible upside and isnt a dead weight with none (Jake) how is that not continuity if you roll with that? There is no reason for us to possibly start 3 Nats on defence now, with 6 on offence when we dont...or wont roster anyone to take advantage of the flexibility?...We should not start any more than 8 Canadians at most right now....even that isn't really doing anything to make us better in all truthfuness I can't think of one player in this regime in last 4..5 yrs who came in and pushed a vet out of his starting spot, and off the roster...even our pluggers who only saw work on teams were never really ousted either....corret me if I am wrong, but save for when there was absolutely nobody returning at a position nobody new has ever been rewarded with a spot... well...that right there is reason enough to use his and Biggies cashola on Kongbo....fits a need...can play inside in certain sets....we all know he can play....and I bet a return here would totally be the thing that gets him back to where he was....Throw Jakes salary at him too and park his fat buttocks on the PR just in case....and let Schemck see if he can amount to anything against other teams starters while in rotation...Jake will offer us nothing next yr...so why even go down that road...Kingbo and possibly Schmeck could tho....so the time is now to find out...forward thinking and planning is what keeps you on top of the mountain....not relying on past glory and players in their golden yrs

and we dont even have to start both....personally I would let Clericus be the 5th WR and start 7 on offence, and go all import on defense.....start Ford as I believe he a baller but not declre an Nat on the defensive side

I 100 percent expect a guy or two who stood out and could really develop into something will get his pink slip...and we will keep an incumbant...or a player that doesnt serve us well on the PR...because thats what we consistently do for yrs....and 2024 likely ends in a similar....yet different fashion of dissapointment which would be totally avoidable...I hope otherwise...but based on the past....and now some these injuries....I will expect more the ame until I see a reason not to

seeing as we coud conceivably not even have to field a started at DT being a Canadian would make way more sense, and we would be better served and stronger to have 2 import DT's who are impactful and a Canadian back up to both for rest/ and injury replacement and fill out the canadian component of the roster....now....big question is...what route does the Coach take, and has he learned from past how skimping on the dline via it be with the talent available, or the mumber in rotation has hurt us badly oh yes....I thought someone else went down as well I've already have accepted it...that will be more the same....with no real reasoning behind it other than just Osh neing Osh....sadly

Interior DL/DT prob the easiest guy to just drop in off the street....Fox isnt new...and any competant guy beside him will be just fine What CB did we lose to the 6 game?....I didnt see that

nope...none...zero....with our recievers I'd even use Clericus as the Bailey replacement with Rosary backing up...Not like the 5th guy gonna see a ton of balls anyway...and have no real need for any Nats on defence...I'm sure tho we will roster Thomas and Scmecks...Guathier for Biggie and Kramdi at SAM and not put out our best lineup....almost banking on that sadly

epic epic step back...failure....poor rostering if the case...whatever you wanna call it....especially when a Nat there isnt really even needed ..very curious what we do here but fore going a national there only for 8-10 snaps a game to give 2 Imports a breather would be our best option....we can Use Ford on corner..Kramdi at SAM if Ford gets knicked....or....us a friggin DNA! and thats why I'd slice Thomas off the roster....give his money and few extra bucks to Kongbo...especially with Biggie off the books....and if we wise keep hi there the full 6 and see if new blood develops....it's not like he cant come back after that if need be and maybe 12 games is the elixar tha would make him a B+ to A linebacker for the season

agree....just sucks because of them...we didnt win 4 in a row....I put part of that blame on the players too as some didnt show up when it counts....but also wonder if some of that was due to not totally preparing them and psyching them up, as we let the room control the room and the staff was too comfortable in the fact that they didnt think they had to go above and beyond to prepare....you always still gotta shake the tree and peel some paint...regardless how vet the squad is...or what the cukture is

I think he is struggling with that extra guy on the field, and it's throwing his ability to make any reads off...in a quick fashion....totally obvious from his picks

Lawson/FOX...Habba/WJ....Garbutt/Woods/Scmeck...I sure that doable now with Ford in the mix, and not wasting a DI on a fullback....and we have used Cole as well off the edge at times, and if we keep/roster Moses I could see him being a great guy to playb like a Jack and come from anywhere....From knowing what we have coming back...and seeing some the new blood perform and practice.....to me that initial crew could really be an agressive and dominant front...dare to dream?....or will it happen?

I don't ignore our success...don't get me wrong...winning is always nice....fun....but the end goal is a championship...bar none and any season not securing that is failure....and losing some for totally avoidable reasons is not acceptable and accountability needs to be addressed....call me old schoiol but the 90's isn't evennthat old school to be honest. I do not know one player who has ever been satisfied not winning th championship...nor know any who just "wanted to get to playoffs" hence my criticism and calling things out...just how I wired
