Hits to the head are not the sole reason a concussion occurs....Put it on to possible prevent that if you choose...maybe some will but it won't end them...You claimed that they are designed to stop the brain from hitting the inside of the skull...from a non head shot...go read your post...as that is 100 percent incorrect.....Answer me this if you believe it does....if a guy gets drilled in the lower back...like we seen hundreds of times and his head snaps back and forth in a whiplash fasion...like a car accident...how is the Guardian wrapped around his head...outside his helmet prevent the brain from slamming into the skull? Cal Murphy..Bouno...Matthews...all would have... he needs to be the DI now...limited reps...special packages...A+ in game replacement.....not a 80%+ of the reps guy anymore tho role guy yup.....injuries at tis age happen more frequently...and take longer to recover from...if you even can get back to 100%...he also has slowed down in his agility capabilities....no shot against him....it just happens....but him on the roster in a diminished role makes us better, and deep....hopefully the brains in the organization see that

doesn't stop the brain smashing into the skull when the body is stopped cold....thats where the brain injuries occur...so a guardian cap does nothing for that other than look dumb...Like I said...a good majority of concussions are not head impacts..they are sudden abrubt deceleration....and whip lash effects where the brain flaoting freely in the fluid inside the skull smashes around inside it....Guardian caps will spread out impact on the hemet, preventing some concussions...but thats about it....if you truly wanna limit or eliminate a chance for a concussion you need to have football played at a brisk walking pace...and thats it....and we all know that not happening

thing is....its not just head shots that can cause a concussion...it's the abrupt stopping of a body...so a guardian cap does nothing for that....a sudden jarring of the body with zero head contact probably causes as many if not more concussions I've had 6 confirmed concussions....1 was a head shot....

wear your mouthguard...thatalone will mitigate many concussions

a play making DT and 2 legit ends rotating opposite WJ...and we will see WJ have a career yr this yr....he played way too many reps last 2 yrs and it hurts his impact...Kudos for him doing it...but shave off 10 or so reps a game at minimum for him...and watch him dominate

I actually like our prospects at LB this yr...Moses and Ayers to me look like legit CFL LB types....and this camp guys will actually get a legit look and opportunity. I fully expect Wilson to be Wilson so no real concerns there, and with Cole and what he brings, and his motor and sideline to sideline pursuit skills...I not concerned where we put him, Just put him in the starting lineup!! Not too worried about the DB's one bit to be honest, and the loss of Jeffcoat I truly think will be an addition by subtraction thing....If he was 1 16 to 18 game a yr guy, then be a bit concerning, but he wasn't and with the jettison of Jackson cause we made an actual smart draft pick, we are going to likely have 2 import ends opposite WJ as well as a disruptive DT this yr....who attacks plays....not recieves them, and hopefully (knock on wood) minimal Thomas in the middle and let Lawson grow into the premiere Canadian DT...which he likely will be... Like mentioned...I bet by game 6 with no injuries, we will have a better defence than we seen last few yrs, and almost 2019 esque....This is the most legit and real talent with a shot to make an impact on the Dline and LB crew that I have seen here pretty much since 2018

need to finally treat the last hold over of the loyalty/reward system like a band aid and rip er off and let stuff heal in open air....Bring in a guy with the skill set for the position...and let him grow and learn on the fly in the early part of the season and see if he takes the job and runs..Much like we did with that SAM a few years back...once he kinda flatlined and gassed out...we made a deal for Darby.....keep Biggie on the 6 game for now and so he gets paid...and is here as a defacto coach/mentor and if we need him for spot duty....he is good coverage as you know he can play....I just think full time reps now for him is a big ask

go watch university then...when you factor in filling out a roster...PR an injury lists with all Canadian talent...roughly 675 guys will be needed minimum to fullfill that....so basically you would be watching a glorified semi pro league...40 percent of guys would be top notch...rest....would b=never had made an active roster...I wouldnt pay 2024 money to watch that yeah....that be brutal and major step backward and for ratio reasons we dont need but 1 Canadian on defence anyway...so yeah...thats a major fail...no knock on Gauthier as he fills a key role....it not being prolonged starter tho

No there's not...each team deems where they wanna play a Canadian versus an American based on who they recruit...draft...etc...there is not allocated positions based on nationality.. So obviously u are far from coherent...and the fact that there is limited Canadian starting talent...a blue chip American may get cut for a less talented Canadian because a team doesn't have the adequate Canadian depth elsewhere to facilitate a ratio switch...kapeesh???

If u are say starting 2 Canadian relievers...and a new import comes up and blows them out of the water...but is cut ...because there isn't adequate Canadian depth elsewhere...then yes...u just lost a roster spot to a less talented player...and it happens all the time...and it deters guys coming up who would be Allstars in their first yr Most the top talent in the CFL come from U.S schools...many of which spent the final yrs of high-school at U.S prep schools...there are some for sure who came out of CIS but they are the minority in terms of impact guys...but they fill out the required depth Could have won the other 2...there a point..and couple lucky bounces and we could have been 1 for 4 too...goes both ways
