Kelly only played when Swarmay got hurt...I think that's the only reps he's seen on defence other than the one game we put in a lot of the backups after game was well in hand Our line would be better I think with Eli at center and I bet he takes it over at some point Gray was fine last game...and has been solid for 2 yrs now ..plus he gets under the skin of defences as he is always in second level annoying guys

Just look at Trever Harris' career as a whole....high percentage completion on short lil dumpy passes...lots of yards between the 20's.....minimal TD's and an overall losing record

The age thing is kind of misleading and is kinda skewwed a bit. Bryant's age of 37 effects the average quite a bit but he hasn't shown any let down...and really if he didnt get screwwed out of the MOL in 2019...he would be on a streak of winning it. Mike Benson at 36 also brings it up, but as strictly a long snapper...big deal...We have ZC at 34... and who is saying he looks old and declining??...we may see that at 37..38....Trevor Harris age range....but again that brings up the average...With Biggie and Neuf at that age too but where has their play hurt us? Briggs and Yosh at 33..One is a role player...other an all-star....Castillo is 32 with the Jeffs....and who wouldn't want them on their squad...If all 3 were to be dumped they would be starting on a new team the following week...and Jake...who I think is on his last legs this yr and will be done...and hopefuly his role scaled down in favour of Lawson Rest of the lineup is 31 and under with the majority in the 23 to 27 age range.....old and aging is way over blown

Teams would kill to get their paws on one of Dobson or Eli....Both of whom would start anywhere in league right now Biggie as well is not playing a traditional MLB role....our scheme asks him to do a lot of other things other than just play inside the box and spy RB's and QB's....Just cause he isnt piling up the sexy stats doesn't mean he's not being useful...is he 2019/21 Biggie...nope....But he is still getting it done to not hurt the squad...plus he's like an on-field coach....but he needs to clean up some of his tackling tchnique as he has made some ugly whiffs...mind u he's not alone at that up to now

Exume will replace Kelly....only reason he is on roster is due to injuries....so this early season experience is huge in case someone goes down later in season...BA is backed by Hallet, who will be backed by Exume Mauro for Beeksma makes no sense at moment as we need to run 2 globals on roster...Beeksma is depth and just that...depth in case we lose Gauthier,Briggs or Cadlwadder...If anything I'd like to see Mauro bumped for Karamoko...He can offer the same as Mauro on teams, and can rotate in on defence and cover at HB or SAM even.....he also was used a bit edge rushing in pre-season much like Mauro...dude is uber athletic.

and some of our "old" players were league All-Stars and 2 won league awards....the age thing is way overblown...especially in this day and age

B.C had no run game...or didnt even try to establish one....we are built different , and have a smart QB and receiving group who should be able to exploit that rush....guess we shall see....and I wont use last yr grey cup as a barometer as we played basically with ZC at less than 50% of what he is capable of...and still should have won....but agree that until the Argos lose, or get bounced by us...whichever comes first, they should be ranked #1....Kelly tho is getting a lot of film on him now, and expect his play to start to wane...

Not arguing for the sake or arguing, but...could be said one team played best it could that day...the other didn't...hence why they lost.....and yes Adams had a bad h=game...cause he basically does this often, but also...and not saying it this [particular game but a pic could be a receiver went to the wrong spot/ran wrong route....or didn't give that extra effort to make the play...etc..etc from my experience usually in a lopsided loss, unless there is an extreme gap in talent between 2 teams....the losing team usualy gets slapped around because most facets...if not all were filled with errors..miscues, and just not being in sync that day....and was "not" the best they could play that day...moreso dropping a giant turd....a lot of times tho it's they lost the coaching aspect of the game and got outcoached and schemed as well

yeah had 25....Had high teans in 21 for the Als....not as many last yr but think he missed some time...but huge add for depth for us...Not too sure what the other fella brings, but it's a Canadian body who can fil out on teams as well and be a back-up to our Canadian LB's...

As was Lawrence...was a nagging injury after game 1 affecting him??...I still think we could see him and Rose as the corners come crunch time...tho Swarmay is intriguing and looking better each time out...and is a solid physical guy....also is top 3 in league with the lowest completion percentage against...so he could be this yrs defensive backfield gem....

and he was still good in coming up in run support...in my opinion he can't get back fast enough, and get some games in so he has his sea legs for the main part of the season

yeah it's not a matter of waiting and playing this fools game...but when 3/5's of one unit is on the IR...and several other g key guys are working back into the lineup....top notch players...well then you hope when they come back...nobody else gets dinged....thats football

there is that aspect too....and at times he tried to do too much to make a difference out there which didn't help....dude is only 28 yrs old this season...hardly in his golden yrs...and if that was the case every team has a bunch of age related decline then...Interesting to see how he looks, and how we deploy schemes when he is back...Parker too which in my opinion was a huge loss....he really came on last yr....we been playing majority of our games this yr with 3 of the 5 projected starters out of lineup...so to not expect some growing pains in the intern while we figure thigs out and weather the storm would be foolish

It will be a battle between B.C and Winnipeg for first this yr 100 percent....B.C tho isnt all that like many were parlaying all week...and Winnipeg isn't on some age related swan dive...when you look at average age of roster wpg is something like avg age 28.7 yrs or something...dont know the exacts but its in the 28's...there are 2..or 3 other teams in the 28's...and rest are in the 27's...maaaaybe one sub 27....so hardly this geriatric issue people are being led to believe. B.C...still not a disciplined team and the proof of that was coming out yesterday when losing...was quite evident....VAJ is weak mentally and looked like he was about to be in tears on sidelines...and this will fester now for several games until another 2 game run against some bottom feeders, and the all word defence looked a lot different when they werent able to jump snap count anticipating snap...and border on the being offside 75% of snaps...if not offside. Still think by yr's end CGY will be the team to worry about....Sask has a lot of holes still....one huge on at HC and Harris won't take you to the promised land in the cold of November at 38 yrs of age....Edm....welll who cars about them for this yr....so we basically play our kind of ball within our system....get our guys back, ad don't suffer numerous injuries all at the same time again...and we will be hosting West final
