  1. I like cofaj the most, but faj has just kind of won the battle.
  2. Faj...😂 montreal gazette But like the rest of his teammates, Fajardo kept his composure and settled down. Despite favouring his left shoulder/pectoral muscle, Fajardo completed 19 of 25 passes for 318 yards, displaying his toughness and resilience yet again. Faj is such a warrior.
  3. a few of these players appear to not give a ****. some really pitiful efforts to block, or make a catch.
  4. it is funny that they take crum out on sure run. roll, out worked so, stopped doing it.
  5. redblacks need to do what bombers did... extra o lineman. also, find some better o linemen. no.
  6. red blacks......"nicest coaching staff" award runaway winners.
  7. Mike Pence taking notes. too bad he didnt wear a recorder, but the mafia criminal trump undoubtedly had him searched, before talking. but if took notes as he says, and if he was honest with his notes.... that is the end of Donald Trump. all that ass kissing for nothing, time for trump this time next year
  8. early sixties, I was in grade seven, bomber players got paid to substitute teach one day we had in his prime, pre achilles, Ray Jauch. pretty cool, very exciting for us kids.
  9. 1952 roster. Interesting, mostly canucks. First season without amateur teams I just read. 16 game schedule. I remember a fair number of these names. Specially Gerry James. Probably the only person to play in cfl and NHL. Our version of bo Jackson. https://www.statscrew.com/football/roster/t-CFLWPG/y-1952
  10. Anyone have an ideas on how to improve reffing? it is approaching dreadful. I have watched a few Canadian college games, reffing seemed better than what the CFL has right now. It has been getting worse, yet no indication that I have seen that the league can or will do something. or even thinks there is a problem. when players have to take a chance on making a remark, things are bad. the review booth seems to be wonky. and Do these refs ever face some consequence for messing things up? do they ever have to explain or sdmit an error? I also think the idea that refs cant be publicly criticised is absurd. every other person in every job, in this world can be criticized. but not refs. stupid. sick of it.
  11. Roster management seems to be the only topic for quite a while. I am not saying there is no problem with it. Just there must be at least a few other things of interest. Kind of grinding it to a fine pulp.
  12. Can someone explain this? I have never seen it before. Another dopey call?
  13. how the hell did the ref not see foot out? I saw it on a crappy tv shot. argo grabbing some stump shirt. I hate both teams. question.....more punchable face dickie, or kelly?
  14. and maybe this: "While working on a piece I wrote last month about a Canadian gold mine being shut down by protesters in Kyrgyzstan, I came across a statistic that I thought must have been a mistake. With all of the noise and criticism both domestically and internationally of Alberta’s Tar Sands, it seemed to me shockingly underreported that 75% of the world’s mining companies are headquartered in Canada. All over the world, companies listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange and run out of lawyer’s offices on Bay Street or skyscrapers in downtown Vancouver (whose real financiers may live in Australia or Nevada) are handling the mining game at home, throughout parts of Asia, South America and surprisingly, even with all the talk of China’s investment in Africa, it turns out that it’s Canada, not China, who is quietly dominating and exploiting African mining. All told, almost 1,300 mining companies based out of Canada are investing hundreds of billions of dollars in over 100 countries around the world." vice https://www.vice.com/en/article/wdb4j5/75-of-the-worlds-mining-companies-are-based-in-canada I bet you can correctly guess why.
  15. also the refs are yo yos..... one week.... quarterback head removed, no call, a week later breeze from a d lineman musses q.b. hair.... roughing. there have to be better people out there. I think with discussion about rostering players.... seems like some of them improve as they play some games, and are worth waiting for. look at Brady O. and moss would no doubt privately admit to making some mistakes. but there is no reason to do so publicly.
  16. Bighill and Lawler comments re refs are interesting. good to see. "Adam Bighill also wasn’t happy about the unnecessary roughness penalty he was assessed late in the third quarter for what looked like a clean hit on Keon Hatcher. “The guy who threw a flag was on the exact opposite side of the collision, who could not clearly see where I hit him, how I hit him. The fact is, he threw a penalty because I hit the player hard. This is what football is, so I would like there to be a little bit more clarity and absolute precision in a call. Just because someone gets hit hard doesn’t mean a flag needs to come out,” said Bighill." https://3downnation.com/2023/08/03/blue-bombers-wreck-lions-to-reclaim-first-place-in-west-division-10-other-thoughts/ that was a great tackle, and a terrible call. reminded me of some of the penalties buff used to get. Bighill was punishing B.C. but good, holy crap what ( clean) hits.
  17. South America is living one of the most extreme events the world has ever seen, unbelievable temperatures up to 38.9C in the Chilean Andine areas in mid-winter," Mr Herrera wrote on social media. https://www.abc.net.au/news/2023-08-04/south-america-extreme-heat-mid-winter-climate-change-scientists/102678662 seems the worst predictions were the most accurate ones.
  18. Can only make one…. Zach. unreal throws. This was one of the best games since the arrival of O’ Shea. And Hats off to the pass protectors. Complete answer.
