  1. I'd love to see Bailey get some development time, but I really don't see the big deal if we go Weitz over him. Anyone saying that one has more value than the other to our roster isn't really basing that on anything other than opinion. We haven't seen either play enough to know.
  2. You can't possibly know that, and that makes it your opinion vs fact. That's how opinion vs. fact works, COULD BE being the operative word. Tony Jones played very well last week.
  3. Yes. I agree on that potentially being a rostering mistake. However, I will wait to see what Wallace does in case the coaches know more about these two players than I do. From a fan perspective though, it seems odd. Coaches must really love what Wallace is bringing in practice? Bailey would be a half a dozen snaps max. Won't be a difference. I do get what you are saying that we could probably change a couple or three spots on the roster and upgrade them ON PAPER, but really at this part the depth chart I am willing to let the coach reward guys etc for work ethic etc. Why? because it won't really have much, if any of an impact anyway.
  4. This is a pretty far out take. You may like J.Jones better but you don't have to make up **** to justify it. T.Jones is a good linebacker.
  5. Exactly. We spend so much time around here grousing about the very bottom of the teams roster where realistically the impact on the game itself is minimal to non existent. Some guys want MOS fired for it? Makes absolutely zero sense to me. Honestly your last 4 spots on any given depth chart could be done with a coin flip and create no difference whatsoever.
  6. Bomber receivers screwed up, and Prukop threw a bad ball on top of that.
  7. I really like Cooley coming on as well, wish it wasnt at the expense of Vanterpool because he was a run block machine last week. However, I think that Wallace can equal his performance if he plays well.
  8. Yea....its pretty concerning. Hips can drag out a long time.
  9. Who cares. That`s ancient history. Different team, different QB even. You can`t look at Masoli 3 years ago....you gotta look at him now and look at the team around him. The guy looks like he was eating at the donut buffet all offseason, and is cooked. I mean BLM used to light us up for 450 a game pretty regularly when he was in Calgary, should we fear him now... Yea....not to mention he was twice as good back then as he is now and playing in a better offence. The Prukop play call was a head scratcher for sure.
  10. Buck has not shown an ability to get his offence going in GCs that is for sure.
  11. Yes he was. His job as an interior DT is 90% disrupt the play, 10% get the QB if you can. He was pushing the pocket back every snap.
  12. Exactly right. Arbuckle really didn't do all that much...didn't have to do so.
  13. They did a couple tunes last time I saw them.
  14. Thornley is one of the best guitar players out there. Absolute must watch concert. I might make the trip down south.
  15. Our secondary having their usual game would have as well. Our defence last year was not built around the pass rush.
  16. Jake was excellent last week vs BC. As for being a starter...that was due to injury. It's kind of what our defence did all year tho except our secondary play was superb. We rushed 3 for a good portion of the year last year and let QBs try throw against us. It was our bread and butter, GC we laid an egg.
  17. Zach's deep shot ability is not what is was 2-3 years ago but is still near the top of the league QB wise. He is still very good on the deep ball. The problem is that ANY deep ball is a much lower % completion and we relied on it way too much the past two years under Buck. We can't be taking the amount of deep shots that we have been taking the past couple years and expect high efficiency.
  18. I think we go Peterson with either Cooley or Logan if he is ready. The holes our OL was opening we are going to have success no matter who has the rock. It was very impressive seeing Vanterpool 15 yards down field laying secondary blocks.
  19. Watched your show this morning. Excellent. Love the interviews too.
  20. Wade sets the standard, no doubt about it. Walters and Osh make sure that standard is met. That's the Trinity in a nutshell. For sure Wade had tough conversations last year, for sure he let them fix it too. Wade has his opinions for sure and shares them but Walters and Osh do what they think is right. So far so good.
  21. Why would we change? We beat the team favored to win the West pretty easily with our backup QB. I will say it again, the last 2-3 spots on our roster are not going to win or lose us games. I don't disagree with those calling them iffy decisions, what i disagree with is those suggesting these decisions over ride the excellent coaching our team has. BTW, brilliant job by Hogan yesterday. Really nice offence so far and with half time adjustments to boot. Gave Strev a pretty simple plan, one he could execute well...and then let his horses up front open holes. The Bombers answered the bell yesterday even whipping boys Kyrie and Fatboi really played well.
  22. We'll see on BO but I like what we came out of camp with behind him. One of our deepest sets of RBs in years.
  23. Jake Thomas in limited reps had a great game.
  24. Still beating the drum. Our roster won against a very good team. I said before the game that if we won by 50 points we would still see complaints.
