  1. Dobson too. Heck out entire OL wore their cement shoes that game.
  2. I hope we see a LOT more of Gabe Wallace. Freakin stud that guy. Just speculating man. Donèt know what the deal is, just throwing it out there that sometimes roster decisions are made based on info we will never have. So what looks dumb to us, could be a perfectly legit move. Nah....Keric is the logical choice imo.
  3. MCI looked like he was bit nicked last game. Maybe there was more there than what meets the eye.
  4. Nah..If he is good to go let him play. Game shape doesnt really apply in this case as he has been splitting reps with Clercius. We needed extra beef along both lines. Something had to give.
  5. Nope...but how cool would that be?
  6. Tyrell can be a shut down guy though. I never saw that from Milligan. Boom and bust DB. Our best DB is Nichols and have the league doesn't even know his name.
  7. Why not? They were in the back half of the league defensively this year. This isn't 2023. They are NOT the defensive juggernaut they used to be. The Argos are a team that surrendered just shy of 500 points.
  8. Easy...nope...but if they bring their best and we bring ours it's a Bomber victory. Turnovers will have to be avoided for sure. However, having watched Arbuckle play in the past I am sure that any turnover advantage they think they might have is completely null and void now. He tosses a ton of errant passes.
  9. Our OL and DL will show up....make no mistake about that. Each of our matchup since 2022? We played you guys once in 2023 and beat the tar out of you guys running for almost 200 yards against your vaunted physicality. Exactly. It's a saw off at worst for the Bombers. The Argos have given us trouble mainly because of turnovers the past couple years.
  10. I disagree with all that you wrote being an advantage Argos. I take issue with it all. Elite defenders....have you seen our defence this year? It has been elite top to bottom. More physical? That is your opinion but I hope Brady and the hogs read this because it will be a can of whoop ass on Sunday. You think you have some kind of coaching advantage? Really? Glue is the only explanation. Deepest most talented roster? Ummm....no...
  11. You are sniffing glue. No nice way to put it. Sorry. You think you have an advantage in talent and depth? I'd say that's pretty even. More physical? Wait until Sunday because physicality is also our game. A coach that routinely out game plans and adjusts to his opposition? Bombers stack up with any coaching staff. PERIOD. Defenders and specialists who can score and take the ball away? Bombers match up no problem. All these things that you list at worst for the Bombers are a wash. Reasons we will win? QB....like not even in the same stratosphere. Team defence....Bombers are the best by a country mile Big time players....Bombers have the guys who thrive on the big stage. Culture, dedication, heart......we win by a million miles
  12. Against a guy like Arbuckle you just let him throw and hang himself. Unlike Harris we have threats that will eat you alive if you want to do something dumb like bringing max pressure all the time.
  13. Milligan is a great ball hawk who reads the play real well. I'll give him that. He and the rest of the Sask secondary gave up a butt load of passing yards and TDs through the air. Dangerous DB to throw against? Yep....one that should be avoided because he is a shut down guy....nope.
  14. I am of the opinion that a DB with high tackle totals is not a good thing for any defence. When tackles are coming in the secondary your defence has lost the plot. I am not sure that Milligan's tackle totals should be used against him per se, but they shouldn't be celebrated either. You are also correct that teams threw 100 more passes against the Riders than against us....again...not a stat any team should love to see in the CFL. You put Ford in for Milligan this year, I think Ford has better stats. What do you not get about it? It may or not may be true...who knows...but it is close enough that the conversation should definitely take place.
  15. And that is exactly why the Rider culture of me first, unprofessionalism, and lack of discipline will keep rearing it's ugly head. The fans don't demand better, in fact, they celebrate it. There have been at least one here, however, over there they are not just lacking apology....they don't see the harm in it at all.
  16. His ability to dominate a game opens up our entire offence. He is probably the guy that other teams game plan the most for, and he still beats their game plan almost every week.
  17. One of the best X's and O's guys out there. Probably knows as much or more about that than any football coach in this league. That is not what a HC does though. He's got coordinators for that.
  18. I agree they are tough to handle, but what we witnessed a few weeks back was the interior of our OL getting completely matadored on even straight 1v1 assignments. Sure they can scheme pressure looks and stunts that will give us trouble, but I expect our OL to win 1v1 blocking assignments and that week they were off the mark and just poor reaction time all around. It seemed like they did not have a good week of prep. I expect a far different result this week. I also expect a game plan by Buck that will make them pay if they intend to just bull rush us.
  19. I agree. Ford is a dynamite player, so is Milligan for that matter, but neither guy holds a candle to BO right now. That's not a knock on them, just the facts.
  20. Our OL definitely took the night off or were woefully unprepared for that game.
  21. I agree. The award is for most outstanding player. Oliveira's play was the most outstanding. I'm not sure why some people think that's a knock on Ford? Ford was easily the 2nd best NAT on our team and probably the league this year. That's nothing to sneeze at, however, BO was the man again. Whether he finishes second to Oliveira on the local or national stage doesn't change the eyeball test that most football fans have witnessed.
  22. I think Younger/Hall will have a master class of a game plan that will involve a ton of different pressures and coverages. Demski and Oliveira will be factoring in greatly. Your one and only shot in this game is the play of your DL against our OL. Buck will be looking to mitigate that advantage with Demski/Oliveira forcing your ends out of pass rush. Once we have accomplished that, it will be a long day for your defence. This ain't the same Bombers offence you've faced this year, the boys are rolling right now.
  23. Our first half of the season was a write off, as we integrated an almost entirely new receiving corps/OL and battled significant injuries. We were a patchwork group of rookies at most position groups and that takes time. Now we are healthy, rookies have figured it out, team units have developed their chemistry together....I expect a big win. The game a couple weeks ago against the Argos we didn't really show up....I don't believe we will have that problem this week.
  24. I really think you are the one missing the point, not vice versa. Is it your opinion their picks were sarcastic commentary on how the awards are done? If so, what would lead you to believe that? Or do you think that Milligan as MOP or Ford at NI is somehow better than the current nominees? 3DN is making the argument that the ability to pick from anyone is better by absolutely botching every pick to the point of ridiculousness when given the opportunity to demonstrate it yet you, for reasons I don't think anyone can understand, are defending their demonstration and suggesting people who don't see it that way can't see the forest thru the trees? Sorry, but that's just too rich.
  25. So to prove that the current system is stupid they picked Milligan for MOP. How in god's green earth does that prove anything?
