PR management this year is strange... Five DBs and two LBs - even thought Wild is already a DI No DE - so if Roh or Okpo goes down, we are totally screwed Two WRs not named Lankford - although Nelson looks interesting...

I must have missed Stanley's speed plays - I thought he played well positionally, still a bit weak in the corners but held his own in front of the net But I really never saw Stanley making an impact across centre... and he was always cheating a bit to retreat into his zone - thats not going to cut it in the NHL... but I'm def not writing him off - maybe in a couple years - he's a shot blocker...

Pre-season notes: - Brossoit's mask reminds me of Stephane Beauregard - so I'm scared everytime there's a shot - Stanley is not 'steady', he is slow and rarely makes it past centre... - Niku should make the big team - better than Morrow and Chiarot - Petan Dano Lemieux played well... would be a nice fourth line - Like the Roslo line - not sure about Perrault on RW though And yeah Little Ehlers Laine is just as underwhelming as last year

Same as Nichols... trying to do too much. Forcing stuff to keep up with the inevitable Reilly late game drive or big plays. Starting against Johnny Manziel is like a best case scenario for Streveler... no pressure, no media attention and Manziel sucks.

Teams like Tampa Bay, Florida, Vegas and San Jose seem to have a pretty favourable position with state taxes etc when it comes to signing guys 'under the cap'... will the NHL evolve into a two tiered system - where there are some elite 'tax relief' teams...?

You're post was worded really strangely... like of course if BC wins more games they will make the playoffs and we won't - same with Saskatchewan. If we win more games, then we will make the playoffs. Pretty neat, eh?

Gimme a break - Streveler was plugged into a Nichols' offence with nothing prepared for him by Lapo.... they would have had two weeks to set up schemes for Streveler Its EXACTLY what you want for your young QB - an easy(ish) game and then a game against Benevides... This is exactly what you don't want now... Wasting more time if Nichols looks good against Montreal and then throws another game away against Edmonton...? Worse if, Nichols sucks and Streveler has to start against Reilly - that's going to get in his head from the first minute of the game.

Ticket sales must be way down...

Only thing BC really has going for them is that final game against Calgary when the starters might be resting...
