  1. Bombers offence is putrid.
  2. Completely lost confidence in Zach Collaros. He is just a liability now.
  3. BLM & Collaros both demonstrating the old noodle arm at this point in their career.
  4. Not much time to prep for Hamilton - today is Monday and the game is Friday. One thing I noticed sitting at field level yesterday is Collaros doesn't have great velocity on his throws - they arc and hang up there forever. I wondered about that because even on TV his intermediate and longer throws seem to take forever to get there. (I will concede his TD strike to Demski was a beauty). But overall, compared with Rourke's throwing velocity for example, Zach's throwing power does not compare favourably. This is very obvious when you see the balls being delivered to a spot on the field at field level. Buck seems to have made some adjustments to compensate for poor O-line play (changing the launch point, generally shorter targets) but this could be a prob going forward.
  5. Have not read this entire thread so I may be repeating stuff already covered. Sitting behind Bombers bench, a few observations: There's not much chatter between the QBs in-game. No one really talks to ZC on the sidelines either, except Buck. Zach and Strev - virtually no contact between them whatsoever. That seems odd. Almost as if things are not especially warm between them. As time passes I am less & less confident in Collaros's play as a QB and wonder if, like BLM, his career is catching up with him. This has been evident since last year. The pick tonight was not Zach's fault though, it was Wilson who executed a poor route. O'Shea had a chat with him after the play. At one point, maybe half way through Q2 O'Shea came over to the O as a group and gave them collective **** - said C'mon guys let's go this is ******* embarrrasing. That was actually kind of impressive. A great coaching move. Bighill pulled a hammy early in the Q1. He was active, coaching a bit on the bench. He should stick to doing that on a fulltime exclusive basis, IMHO. The D line with Garbutt and Haba is a tight group - you can tell they like each other. It looked like Demski was banged up pretty badly on that one play but once he got to the sidelines he seemed to shake it off. in the 4th BO took a very nasty hit - exposed by a careless dump pass that should not have been thrown. It's almost like Collaros didn't care the Oliveira was going to get creamed - he threw it anyhow. Brady is tough but that one hurt. I hope he's okay - he did not return to the game. Not as much love and chemistry between this bunch as in prior years. It's more businesslike. Maybe that's OK. BC sucked on both sides of the ball. Castillo signed my #14 jersey so I'm happy about that and, of course, thrilled with the win. Go Blue!
  6. Montreal 8-1. Best in the CFL. Davis Alexander looks very good. Does this mean they can plan beyond Cody Fajardo? BLM pretty much cooked, says Matty. Powell def should start for Hammy. Also, Legghio not very good. But we knew that, right?
  7. Dickenson such a ****.
  8. Jake Maier looking bad. Cam Dukes looking good. Fans getting on Maier and Stamps. Will Dickenson finally give up on Maier?
  9. Line Judge #42 Eric Gyebi was right there. Missed both the fumble and Alouettes recovery. Baffling. CFL should explain on what basis the on-field mistake was not overturned after video review.
  10. BLM back to his old tricks.
  11. True. Egregiously bad call by the officials. But Maas response is just as embarrassing for the CFL. What an effing tool he is.
  12. Case came in for Wilson when the spotter pulled him. So he's a utility spare receiver/returner. But if Lawler returns in 2 weeks, what are the chances we see Lucky Whitehead returning punts/kickoffs? They were using Lucky today same way they tried to give Janarion Grant some reps on offence in the past.
  13. Anyone know if Streveler is hurt? He hasn't looked as effective past few games.
  14. Ford's pick was an actual turning point. Pokey's great catch was a great catch that technically was incomplete. But that too was a momentum builder. Zach got a bit more time to find his targets but the game plan and play-calling much improved. O-line got down to bully-ball and Brady made 'em pay. Defence was simply lights out.
  15. I picked BC to win this. Never been happier to be wrong.
  16. Collaros's best half of football this season
  17. secured the f'ball
  18. Collaros rushed that throw
  19. 9 games into the season and this Offence is completely inept discombobulated and out of sync
  20. Well, if Woli is still able to play after that injury, club should look at a deal for Demski in exchange for some O line help.
  21. You'd think they would've discussed that before the coin toss
  22. BLM with a pick on his first throw (what's new)? Ham might be the only club that would consider Collaros if he were available.
  23. MBT with some zip on the ball, unlike Collaros.
