Wow, reading that story. Unbelievable. What a couple of corrupt jerks Sammy and Phil were. Their lawyer's defence seems to be to admit they were all unethical and in conflict and broke rules and maybe broke the law but not that badly and were just buddies helping each other out and everyone knew they were buddies so its everyone else's fault for letting it happen. The day they issue a warrant for Sammy's arrest....Ill have a glass a wine and think back to the day Sam was a condescending prick to me in his boardroom...and Ill smile.

So despite evidence of widespread voter fraud, Trump now wants an investigation. Because he just cant handle that he didnt win the popular vote. And unless I am remembering incorrectly, didnt the White House say Trump won the popular vote when voter fraud was calculated but when pressed as to if that was true, would there be an investigation, they said no...? So Im guessing Trump also got his **** up about the media calling him out about it. This guy has the potential to be an utter disaster with an ego like that. Its entertaining though. Great story. I like Maurice a lot. By all accounts (and Lawless has said this repeatedly), Maurice and his family love Winnipeg.

I got the impression Maurice was "willing" to keep the assistants as opposed to "wanting" to keep them. The implication being the Jets either liked them or didnt want to pay out those contracts. its tougher during mid-season and when Maurice came in, the team played better so maybe the feeling was things were going in the right direction by summer. But if Im Maurice Im wanting to upgrade my assistants this summer as condition to signing a new deal. Because if this continues, he will end up going down with the ship eventually.

Thats probably why Maurice was happy to keep all the assistants. He knew no one could replace him. Im not anti-Maurice per se. But to me Im starting to feel like the Jets need a house cleaning.

Yes thats true but following the system is part of what we mean by "system". Huddy has never been effective at his job. Therefore he must go. Same with Flaherty. If the overall team under-performed like the D and goalies, we'd fire the head coach (and, in fact, we did). So they should go.

The anti-Toby people are the least relevant ones. If a guy isnt scoring or laying people out, too many fans think they arent playing well. Toby was having a great season until his personal family issue. He's still not playing bad in this system and I dont begrudge him having his mind elseware if the reported issue is the case. We;ve added Trouba and Myers and our D is still shaky at best. It's the system. Time for Huddy to go bye bye.

Its a reference to Scott Steiner. But I assume he's trolling. Last time Steiner was mentioned in relation to WWE was after he threatened to kill Hogan, harassed his wife at an airport and had his photo distributed to security during the Hall of Fame a few years ago. But Steiner in the Rumble would be pretty fun.
