  1. Okay, other than saying the same thing over & over & over about how bad Willy is/was/ always will be, you tell us why a qb who suffered thru 11 sacks tonight would hold onto the football too long instead of getting rid of it quicker. I'd be interested to read what you have to say. Go ahead... Oh & don't give me that shell shocked answer as it is more complex than that. Shell shocked means he'd be panicking & throwing the football too early. I want a real insightful answer. How am I supposed to know what's going on in his head?? Maybe it's just a lack of pocket awareness (as has been on display all year), or a case of Willy trying to protect his stats, as SmokinBlue suggested? I surely hope it's not the latter... It's a little of a, a little of b, and a lot of just being a terrible runner and having terrible agility. So many times where any half decent athlete, even Ricky Ray would escape, but Willy gets tripped up by nothing. Again, most of the time he runs into the tackles, doesn't look to throw while he's running and overall even with nobody within 5 yards from him, he starts hopping up and down and panicking when he doesn't have to, almost every play.
  2. Too predictable, same schtick everyday for you! Think with emotion never with brains, I knew couldn't resist replyign to that post even though it was 100% correct. Shame shame, just admit when you're wrong and apologize and everything will be good. Humility is a good thing, nothing to be ashamed of.
  3. Whatever, just listen and learn. Lesson for the day is! It's okay to bench your starting QB and then put him back in the game later on, especially if he is playing like a goof ball. One thing for sure is, he'll never realize he's playing like a goof ball if you never bench him.
  4. Nope, it's not, i'm one of the few that analyzes the game and complains about crap the way it went down. Even knowing that the majority of people will not be happy with the truth. Hard thing to do, but somebody's gotta do it.
  5. Yep, BC didn't cover our receivers or anything like that. Apologist 101! So bloody predictable.
  6. I didn't call him any oif those things(you really need to learn to read or maybe just learn to comprehend what you read), I simply said his judgement is blinded by what he wants to see rather than by what is actually happening. So his opinions after every single game are predictable and the same every game. He doesn't put blame where it lies, he puts blame at the same spot every time, whether it deserves it or not.
  7. It's like they didn't learn a damn thing about the things they did right last game. Did Willy roll out even once today? His version of rolling is spin with his head down or turn to the sidelines and run until you get tackled by a finger.
  8. Yup.. Threats of violence always make your point more valid.. Smh. No - thats more frustration I get what he's saying. It can be infuriating when a 'fan' only see's what they want to see. Willy had all kinds of time to throw, he had receivers open. It was hilarious, on the telecast, Suitor tried to make a point that all the receivers were covered. The 'short' receiver was about 6 yards underneath the coverage, but of course Suits was on a roll so he said he was 'covered'. About 10 minutes of game time after that, Beck got the snap, turned, and fired a dart to Gore I believe it was, who was 'wide open' just like the bomber receiver was above, only the bomber defender was about 3 yards off him. It's amazing all the apologists there are for Drew 'freakin' Willy. At least more fans are finally starting to see what I've been seeing since mid-August. He hasn't nearly been good enough, and tonight was his worst start yet (but low an behold he finally threw another TD pass). But yeah, I get his frustration. Unless you know what the read progression is on the play that is called, it is impossible to say "he had receivers open." Probably the biggest fallacy in football from a fans point of view, when everyone goes "hey, that guy is open!" Ya, but it's the QB's 6th read, and the by the time the ball gets to him the DB or LB is going to completely fill in the "opening" most of the time. About as dumb as the people who yell "shoot" all the time on the powerplay at a hockey game. Are you a pro Qb? Juran, I'll ask you then you seem to 'know your stuff'. Explain to me how our second stringer, Brian Brohm, and our third stringers, Robert Marve, can, with the same receivers, same oline, and same OC, and same play calling, make plays, and Willy can't? This is a legit question 'cause I definitely don't have a clue. Thanks in advance He wont' even try to, his mind is made up regarding the problems to our team. He'll just make some more silly remarks regarding our o-line.

About as dumb as the people who yell "shoot" all the time on the powerplay at a hockey game. Invalid(preditictable, predetermined opinion based on prior posts) opinion from the biggest Willy apologist/bombers -oline hater I've seen through hte season.
  10. It's just so frustrating to see our o-line take such a beating(by the fans) when our QB is responsible for over 50% of the sacks they get credit for causing.Additionally our offensive coordinator causes our o-lien too look 100times more terrible than it is. Our runningback btw had 8.19 average yards per carry and 2 catches for 25 yards, but only ran the ball 16 times. Sheer lunacy.
  11. Because he's shown to be highly capable, it's his first year as a starter and he's surrounded by (at most times) a pretty terrible supporting cast? Not hat's not it at all, it's because people are in love with stats, if his completioon percentage was crap and his yardage lower they'd hate him. But because he has artificially high completion percentage( from not throwing the ball away when he needs to), and his yardage is high from continually thorwing bombs more than he should be. THey love him! Even though the majority of the time he makes the stupidest decision ever, alas Saskatchew games or the game tonight! Even less then mediocre QB play and we win tonight. Seriously, I understand the need to defend our QB after how hard we've been on QBS over the years, but this year Willy has had a million chances to prove his worth and he' s progressively getting worse, and not only worse, but progressively getting more idiotic with his decision making. Several games this year, in a city with in a less sensitive and touchy situation(scare to hurt the starting QBS feelings), Willy would of or should have been benched.
  12. BC played terrible, and we still lost, again! At home! Again! Mostly due to a QB who panicks for no reason, is as slow as mollases and a coach that will not bench players playign terrible until it's too late.
  13. Anybody who defends his play last night is an apologist and not thinking with their brain, just with their Willy love and their pre determined hate for our oline.
  14. Would you go to work every day looking forward to be mentored by a guy who finished out his career sucking at his job, had a concussion history, and literally knows nothing about the job you actually DO(running back vs QB). Didn't think so! (of course your'll be a goof and argue for no reason even though you secretly go, Oh yeah he's right) Anybody with half a brain knows Buck doesn't deserve to be our running back coach and was gifted it out of loyalty. Additionally, anybody who is thinking woudl realize that's part of the reason such a pathetic runnign back(Grigsby) lasted on our team for so long.
  15. Maybe if you live in dream land, or lala land, or whacky tabbacky land, or I think with emotion, not with common sense land.
  16. NO BUck Pierce would of been coaching Grigsby for the majority of the year, his stupidity didn't have time to influence Cotton yet.
  17. Etch needs to hitchhike home tonight. Complete Loser!
  18. More defending when he doesn't deserve being defending. Get freaking real already!
  19. No surprise there, a terrible running did terrible. Just too bad our coaches were bad at their job to realize this sooner. P.S; Buck freaking Pierce has no business being a running back coach.
  20. putting Grigsby ahead of Cotton, bringing Romby loser Bryant and not EVER EVER EVER EVER benching Willy, have cost us the majority of our losses this year. Etcheverry has cost us the rest.
  21. Willy can't move around int he pocket more, he'll just panick for no reason adn run into somebody. He also can't throw quick releases, because frankly he just isn't good at it. His only strength as a starting QB is his willingness to stand in the pocket and take a beating without getting injured. But sad part is, his main strength is his biggest weakness, if he could stand in the pocket and maintain his composure, then he'd be a real gem.
  22. Just cause he was "second in the league in passing"", because our coach was too stupid to cut a terrible running back and our offensive coordinator is too stupid to run the ball' He gets all kinds of slack he's not even remotely close to deserving, very infuriating. He's a freaking rookie QB who is not playing nearly good enough football, but instead of putting blame where it lies we blame everybody else in fear of hurting our rookie QBs feelings. Outright stupidity. Oh and I classify a rookie QB as somebody who is having his first year as a QB with the majority of the starts.
  23. WIlly has been terribe the last 8 weeks, and coaches that are too slow to make changes to players playing terrible have cost us a playoff spot. Frankly, it pisses me off. our team was easlily good enough to make it. Just too many boneheaded coaches, not thinking about team but thinking about individual players psyche ahead of the team. O'shea you should be ashamed with yourself the way you coached that game.
