  1. What's everyone expecting out of Grigsby tomorrow? Other than RB I think our offence will be way better than last year.

On D, ya win some, ya lose some. Wild gets the start, but so does Dunn....

Here's hoping for a MUCH better effort than we saw last season...and hoping ticket sales pick up, we got S.I. in town, let's show 'em how we party!

  2. A deal that would focus on Kane going and strictly pick(s) coming back defies all logic, IMO.

Kane, with warts and all, is a proven commodity. Look up his 5on5 numbers...one of the games best scorers, period. Loads to work on, but he's 22 and signed long term. To me, it's as simple as put him with Scheif and Wheels all year. If he can't produce then, consider moving him.

Only receiving picks means the team is taking a step towards a rebuild rather than a step towards playoffs. I know, we're not winning Lord Stanley's Grail anytime soon, but I thought doing everything we can to get in the playoffs was a logical next step.

  3. I think the Thursday games were a bad idea.  Sure people are in the city as opposed to Friday games where people leave for the cabin after work on a Friday, but for people who work the next day, it can make for a rough morning.  With the new 7:30 start time, games are over at 11:00pm.  Get home by midnight if you're lucky.  Could hurt concession too...who wants to be hungover on a Friday at work?

To me, the problem is the start time, not the day of the week. No reason to start games later than 7.

7:30 start means over by 10:30. Large % of the crowd should be home by shortly after 11. Not terrible.

Real argument is how awesome HAM will be this year. Spectacular or amazing ?

    Take your time.

competing against a fading Montreal team, an expansion Ottawa team and the Argos? Yeah I suspect they'll wind up looking like they're a better team than they are again.

A gutted SSK, gong show in EDM, iffy Lulay, iffy QBs in CAL ....is there anyone left ...?

BOMBERS vs. redblacks Grey Cup 2014. Book it.

  5. Park n ride to sit in a cramped, non air conditioned bus AND pay for this sweet hookup? Thanks but no thanks.. Had my fill of that bull plop last season... Perimeter and then close as possible and walk or shuttle for this guy..

Cramped, sure. If you're 300+ lbs maybe.

$40 a year...enjoy spending that on gas by the 2nd home game.

Last 2/3 of the year the P&R was run perfectly, IMO, so same as usual for this guy.

  6. I thought his season ended with a knee injury last year.  Inclined to say he tore one of his CL's, ACL maybe?  Someone else will remember the specifics.

And he was never very solid in Philly, but he did enough to keep a roster spot.  I think they rostered 7 DE's, so as long as he's the 7th best one he's been able to keep a job.

Phillip Hunt, a third-year backup who is transitioning from 4-3 defensive end to 3-4 outside linebacker, has suffered a torn ACL. Hunt had successful ACL surgery today (August 15, 2013)
