I'm going to predict right now that Jake starts week 1 at DT. Hope I am wrong.

Anybody who has followed the club the past number of years can see MOS values hardworking Canadian foot soldiers and guys he locks in on as key despite obvious drawbacks (See Jake starting, Briggs getting defensive reps last year, Sam Hurl, Kuale, Roc Carmichel, Hecht, Jackson)

Ford at CB and Kramdi at LB = 2 Canadian starters = we don't have to start a Canadian DT.

I am worried about the start of the season given how injuries are piling up. I expect to be frustrated about some of the cuts. I suspect to be mad about roster decisions. I'd like this on file now for future reference.

Lawson out sucks. Hopefully they go RB, 2WR, 3OL, LB and CB. Gives them 8 NIs and you can go 2 starting american DTs. Bet we see Jake start and disappoint.

I think what @Booch may be trying to argue is that MOS is slow/reluctant to allow younger americans to get on the roster/get a shot over american vets who have been here for awhile or who may need to be replaced. Yes, some 1st years have started but its been in cases of open competition to replace guys. Schoen when we had an open receiving spot and he won the competition Alford and Nichols when we had two open spots because Sayles and Rose had both left for the NFL. Strevy because Matty was hurt.

Riders took something like 9 penalties for 110+ yards. The more things change, the more they stay the same.

We should monetize this. "The Riders are awesome. Everything is cool when you're wearing green." Now to sit back and wait for the $ to roll in.

So is it fair to say that Bryant is of course a no brainer, we have no real worries with some combo of Neufeld, Kolo, Dobson, Eli and Wallace but RT is still a question mark?

MOS has been a great coach but he's not infallible. Walters has been a great GM but he's also not infallible. Heck both risked potentially losing their jobs if we don't win in 2019.

Dave Thomas was ok but I kept wanting to call him the Wendy's guy. Mullinder makes fiction's Lenny look like a Mensa candidate.

He might have just made the team which means he has to live in Saskatchewan so I'd say he just lost big time.

Forget seeds, if you have to listen to Mullinder on the Riders broadcast all year, they should be advertising weed or alcohol.

How did such an experienced olineman on an offense led by Ronny Lancaster's grandson have such a bad snap. Garbutt looked like he would have got the sack with a good snap. Looked fast on that play.

I'm just glad we have a lead playing the Riders and an entire team that has had a great camp. Especially with some many weapons and the genius OC they have.
