Great video on Twitter of Browaty telling a group addressing council that he thinks groups that come in to offer feedback don't represent the average citizen, that its a waste of time and how councilors are represent 45,000 people or so and he gets his feedback from Joe Sixpack who drives his SUV to Tim Hortons on the way to hockey while door knocking every four years. @Brandon still want to claim how great he is?

Surplus for oil companies to clean up the messes they are legally obligated to clean. $ for billionaire hockey owners to build an area. Why use public money to help people by spending on healthcare, affordable housing or education? Conservatism ladies and gentlemen.

We've talked a lot about Smith's plans in Alberta but here in Manitoba Heather's Cons seem to be pushing privatization of healthcare as well. See letter from the Neurologist in Tuesday's WFP and the comments from the two sleep apnea specialists. Healthcare is screwed if these assholes get elected again.

Browaty does a good job of addressing the requests of people in his ward. He is also very conservative and reflects the views of many in his ward which is also very conservative. Its the same area provincially that elected Bonnie Mitchelson from 1986-2016 and that Cathy Cox has held since 2015. Also the same area Joy Smith held federally from 04-15 and the Dancho has held since 2019. He is not a good politician.

@GCn20 How do you feel about the CPC moving towards the far right, emulating much of the MAGA playbook seen in the USA and embracing conspiracy theories?

@Mark H., I agree with your analysis and will add they would cut the carbon tax and stop the increases to EI and CPP.

Canadian Politics
So continuing this discussion what do you think the CPC should cut if they form government?
-
Canadian Politics
So since GC mentioned saving $, are you all right with people getting less for CPP? How about transfer payments being decreased and healthcare and education having less $?

54% want JT to step down? Evidence please. So GC, since you want JT to step down so badly, how are you going to feel when transfer payments for social programs are cut, retirement age is raised, increases to CPP and EI are eliminated under a PP government? He's repeatedly called increases to CPP and EI tax increases. He's repeatedly talked about reducing government spending and how Conservatives don't believe in social programs.

A group of surgeons at Grace Hospital wrote a letter to the Health Minister outlining concerns five months ago. Nothing was done. NDP raises it in the house yesterday including a copy of the letters (signatories names redacted). PCs claim its fake since the names are not given, downplay it and refuse to do anything about it. Bunch of Ghouls. I could list many more such stories but for any PC supporter here, explain how you defend this party?

Canadian Politics
CPC is the party with members posting or making statements about being anti woke, anti lgbtq, banning books, promoting conspiracy theories about the WEF and fifteen minute cities but they are not the party promoting culture wars?

Canadian Politics
Let's imagine a government under Pollievre. He's talked about putting the government on a diet and how Conservatives don't like social programs so we likely see a reduction in spending on social programs. He's advocated that bitcoin can buy our way out of inflation and for firing the head of the bank of Canada so let's assume interference in the Bank of Canada and oh maybe investing CPP $ in crypto or maybe pushing provinces to give power to crypto miners instead of prioritizing it for citizens. He continually derides experts so heaven help us when a crisis arises because he'll ignore them. Throw in convoy support and his woke is bad nonsense. Sounds like life in one of the worse Republican shitholes in the us.
