  1. It's possible Kylo had the same kind of force vision when he touched Vader's helmet as Rey had when she touched the lightsaber. It's possible that's what he meant by "tell me again". He wants to see the force vision again. As for the raw strength he's seen before. He may be referring to Kylo. He wasn't scared when he saw Kylo's raw power, but he tried teaching him anyway and failed, and now Rey wants him to teach her and he is scared of this power.
  2. I have a feeling Rey is talking to Luke at the very end, and Snoke is talking to Rey in the beginning monologue.
  3. The funny thing is, Tina's voice is the guys actual voice where as the mom is a guy but he adjusts his voice for that. Watching that Tina guy talk IRL and watching him on video is so freaking weird. Even watching the guy who does Bob's voice IRL is jarring cause you picture what he looks like in your head and he looks so different. Pudgy short fat guy LOL.
  4. Yeah but you and your friends are weirdos.
  5. Oh, yes, Spiderman will be in the MCU for the next few movies. I don't think that he'll ever go back fully to Sony if at all. Marvel will get their stuff back. Now that they're in Disney's corner, there's no way they don't manage to pull everything back eventually.
  6. No, the film doesn't take place in the MCU. This is supposed to be a "Sony only project". Sony is trying to create a "Spiderman universe" of their own but Spiderman will not actually be IN the movie. In this movie Black Cat and Silver Sable characters will be playing the "good guys". I don't know why I'm doing so many "quotes". I don't really get what Sony is trying to do here. They seem to be creating a spiderman universe without Spidey. Some people were speculating it would be Miles Morales, but I believe they're keeping Miles in the MCU so who the **** knows what Sony is doing. Amy Pascal is such a twit this kind of **** doesn't surprise me with all the crap they create.
  7. Yes, sorry, I wasn't saying Venom wasn't being made, I just meant that's not a real trailer. They haven't even started filming it yet. The saddest thing about the video is that's not even close to what Tom Hardy's voice sounds like. I just wish it was part of the MCU. Sadness
  8. This is a fake fan made trailer just FYI.
  9. Ah ok. I thought it was some weird "shock people" kind of thing.
  10. Her name being Michael instead of Michelle is really throwing me off. Just a little gripe but it's annoying. Don't use a boys name just to show the world there is no "boys name or girls name". It's annoying.
  11. SPOILER WARNING! Yes, it was very cinematic looking. I enjoyed the show. I didn't like that they not only revamped the look of the Klingon's, but also their culture. They're not supposed to care about the body after it's dead, yet they put it in a coffin and attached it to the hull. I had no issue with their new ship design. They just didn't feel Klingon. Not only that, but they were so bulked up with costume, they couldn't move very well. And it was ridiculous how easy it was for Number One to kill one. I get it was a lucky shot, but still. But yeah, the Klingon's were really weak. They should have made them a bit more similar in culture and look to the old DS9 version, where they had character, spirit and honor. I wouldn't have minded if they had just changed them a little, but this just went too far IMO. If they destroy the Shenzhou, which is what I guess its what's going to happen, I'll be sad. I actually like this group and Michelle Yeoh as the Captain. I wish she was the Captain of the Discovery and they had done this a different way because she is excellent as a starship captain.
  12. I haven't watched it yet other then the first few minutes. But the thing that annoys me most about the klingon change is that they all look so generic now.
  13. I don't believe they ever mention he was dead. But there's a lot of people who have been saying they should bring in Lex Sr. I hate Eisenberg and I hated the Lex Jr character.
  14. Yup, definitely one of my top five hated things about the movie.
  15. I actually just watched the second show, so I'm not sure if they're on their third episode or not. I'd actually just like them to be more serious then do comedy. Like I said, it's just a guilty pleasure for sci fi right now.
  16. I know I'm late to the game about talking about the Orville, but I actually enjoy it. There is a bit of stupid humor in it that doesn't seem to fit at times, but it still has a sense of star trekiness about it. I'm not a fan of the pot humor or the dumb gags. If they pulled that stupidity out of the show I think it would be really good. Otherwise for now it's filling my "sci fi" needs. Maybe I'm just really thirsty for another sci fi show and I'm taking anything I can get.
  17. I was dubious that this film would be any good, but that looked pretty cool.
  18. So I watched the Orville. I didn't think it was that bad. It was pretty good for what it was. There was a little too much silly potty humor in it for me, but I did laugh a few times at some of the other jokes. The CGI wasn't the greatest but I liked it for what it was. And I'm not a Seth McFarlane fan so.
  19. That's odd, considering their products are getting crappier instead of better.
