The only honest answer to your concerns is to move out of the country. I don't mean that in an arrogant way either. Canada is and as far as I can tell will always be a socialist leaning country. That means paying taxes for the "greater good". Even though it's horribly corrupt, it has proven time and time again that capitalism with socialist aspects is the best way to run our current form of society. Like others mentioned, the best places on earth in terms of overall happiness/safety/healthcare etc etc etc all use this type of system.

This is something that should be address by the CFL brass asap. Bombers should be held up as an example....so far anyway....their partnership with Football Manitoba and The Pit football league have very much increased youth involvement in football. I don't know the exact numbers but I know flag football is the fastest growing sport for youth in MB. Does that translate to tackle/CFL viewership...? I don't know. But it can't hurt! I also know the Bombers in partnership with Football MB reach out to specific community organizations to promote youth tackle football and even get teams started. Valour Patriots folded a few years ago and Football MB has been vocal in getting it started again...we came close last year but coaching issues came up just before the season started. Hoping things are different this year!

That is generally how it.goes....but I'm honestly curious why people think that about PCs. Like where are they getting this info from? Outside of obvious talking points from campaign type speeches....I'd take almost any conservative members platform as proof right now.

There's a bit of bias here. He's definitely shown his ability to make a play out of nothing. Did he do it on a regular basis....no...seems like it may have been injury related. Change his colors from green to blue and there'd be a lot of excuse making for him here.

When this all started, I saw a comment on Twitter replying to PP about him not really wanting this to go through because it would also expose him/the PCs. The assests they got and the assest they got rid of certainly was. Willy was a high salary bench warmer at that point. Bombers needed to shore up the D that year and build depth moving forward. This also cemented Nichols as the starting QB. We didn't win a cup BECASUE of this trade, but it was absolutely a fundamental part of getting the team to the place it needed to get to.

I'd argue TJ heath had more impact in his CFL career than Drew Willy. Petermann was a very very solid backup CDN and provided depth where we needed it badly. Feel free to mock that trade, but it was part of the foundation that started the current reign of domination you're under now. Yes I know, Argos got one on them. But no team has won more games than the Bombers since 2016. And that trade was part of it.
