If you look at how often teams (not just the bombers) go through SAMs this is almost guaranteed to not happen. He's likely got 2 years at most left in that position, and that's assuming injuries don't occur AND being very generous imo. Rankin will have less than 75yrds on the day. MBT will throw 3 picks. Bombers win 42-9

I think that was just bad luck. By all accounts they were expecting Wilson to play and he got hurt during warm ups. Hopefully it's nothing serious.

How many points did MBT put up? I'm not saying Ford would have won them the game. But once they put MBT in, the game was over. It was an idiotic call and took away their only ability to move the ball. MBT is overrated.

Edmonton wasn't beating them via the pass. They don't have the horses. They had to keep running the ball and they took out the guy who kept the defense honest. Game wasn't out of control when they pulled him.

There's really no "easing" an OL in. They also pretty well always start/stay with who is listed as starter on the depth chart. OL is one spot where you don't really ever see guys subbing in/out like you do in other positions.

I think a lot of that is based around him doing returns. In his first couple games he was an Offensive weapon only. After that he was doing all the returns and some offense. I think it was the right choice to limit his Offensive touches as he was really the only returner on the roster and he is fragile. If he's able to just be on Offence. He will be useful. Until then I don't expect him to be to involved.
