  1. That defense will win them some games.
  2. To a rec that has bracket coverage all over him.
  3. Faj limping into the tunnel now too
  4. Yeah apparently I was pretty off about that prediction....
  5. Yeah I'm hoping he learned something last week? But who knows. I can see a streveler chant starting early if he hasn't improved. In terms of getting better....the money should be there now, especially with Schoen being done. I will continue to hope for some real competition to be brought in..but that hope is turning to frustration quickly.
  6. I very much hope so. He has that homerun speed the backfield is missing.
  7. I'm not sure what you're not understanding. People aren't disagreeing with most of your points lol. What point are you making that's so different than what's been expressed since week 1? The only thing that makes you look delusional is you opinion that it's a sure fact the rest of this year and 2025 will be a disaster. So much can change in that time. If you're not sure why people would respond to your posts on a discussion (key word) forum...I'm not sure what to tell ya Feel free to continue with belittling entire generations of people...that doesn't make you seem unhinged at all
  8. Why are you even responding? Shouldn't you just go and wait for the 2026 season to start?
  9. In July they were trying to get better? Lol. Changes to those clubs didn't come until late in the year. Again...you should probably just take a step back and realize there are 12 games left. 3 months before things get really interesting. I was fully expecting this to be a down year (not this down mind you). You're picking fights/making points no one else is lol. Who has said "we're almost there?" Outside of 1 off poster, who has said they're happy with the roster? We have help coming (injury returns) which should improve things. Writing off a season(nevermind 2!) after 5 games is about as dumb as it gets in the CFL. That's not me claiming things will get better.... simply stating that teams have absolutely turned things around after some struggles. Feel free to continue with the hyperbole if you want, it's your day/week to ruin I guess.
  10. Lol you need to take a step back man. Its July. In 2019 the team was a lock for 1 and done in the playoffs and that was in late Oct. Last year MTL was a joke in July. I don't think anyone is pleased with the outlook right now. But writing off 2025 is hyperbole in its finest form lol.
  11. Lucky hasn't taken a snap in a very long time. And has been in WPG for all of 4 days? Last time he played for WPG they had a different OC. He needs time. Rushing him in is a great way to lose another rec to injury....it's not like that's something he's struggled with his entire professional career.
  12. Running backs are basically the only position on the field ever refered to as being a "bell cow" type of player....that's why what you said doesn't work. LBs are not refered to like that, running backs are. Shiiit can I take you up on that offer? Lol. I'm not on the west coast but I will be later this fall
  13. Wtf....can we not find an de that can stay healthy?
  14. Maybe Butler and Armstrong. But Mills and Carey are not what they claim to be. Carey especially looks like he's about done.
  15. Demskis coming off the best season of his career. He's not a #1 guy which is why he's not being paid like one. He's being paid like he's one of the top Canadian WR. Which he is. Bailey is not demski. For whatever reason Bailey has always been overrated around these parts. I'm not a huge fan of Brady's contract. But I understand it. I also think this will likely be his largest pay day. He's not a guy is want to lose at this point in his career. So as a gm, get him back in the door and as time goes on try to claw back some of that sms by renegotiating etc.
  16. it's more about market value. demski is right around where he should be for the wr market. Brady is significantly more than the market.
  17. Yes not many...which is why Brady is so rare and deserves to paid more than others. (I'm not saying I like his contract...but I understand it) Schoen admittedly took less because other offers while more $$ didn't have the team strength. So henoc got paid? We're not talking about how good the teams were...we're talking about premium Canadians getting paid a premium amount. I know...his contract may have contributed to his crappy teams...but we're talking about whether or not star Canadians get paid more or not. And history shows they absolutely do. Harris again took discounts because he wanted to build something. At the very least, BC was willing to pay more (or at least the same) for Brady. Again, star Canadians basically across the board get paid more (maybe more than they should).
  18. Yeah no need to flip another spot if they went American at RB. Bringing back JA was a mistake IMO. Along with a few others that have been discussed.
  19. Oh I could see it being significantly more if his current play continues. Especially if CGY is in the mix....
  20. I wonder if pressure just gets to him eventually...like not Dline pressure. But pressure of being the guy. When he came here in 2019, he talked about having fun and just going out there and playing football again. 2 grey cups/2 Mops/ big ass contract/media attention etc etc etc and that looseness seems to be gone a bit. Same thing happened in Hamilton as well.
  21. He's not their biggest problem. But I'm not sure how anyone can watch him play when it matters and suggest he's playing well. Yup he's got a lot of yards and TDs but garbage time is a real thing.
  22. I honestly think MOS just thinks those guys are the best at their spots...but assuming youre right, why would they be developing so many positions to be Canadian? They've started at least 1 more Canadian than needed going on 2 years now? Maybe more? The talent pool dictates that developing that many positions isn't likely to turn up positive results.
  23. A lot of people said that about Allen. People also said that about VA, people said that about Fajardo. Writing a guy off after barely 2 seasons in the league is short sighted. He needs time. I hope it's the Bombers that give it to him. That's not really an apples to apples comparison though. When you have a star Canadian (especially MOP level star) at any position they will command more $$. If Philpot continues his season you don't think he'll be up there with the highest paid wr? What did Fantuz get? What was Henoc making in his prime? If Betts had stuck around he'd be up there. Point being, star Canadians always come at a premium.
  24. There are always exceptions to the rules though. Brady is one of them. This teams success has mostly been dictated by how well they run the ball. Look back at those grey cups as see how well our RBs were utilized compared to the 2 they won.
