  1. Casey Sayles came into a starting role pretty early on, and would probably still be starting here now The best 70k the Bombers ever burned! Thank you again for being a snake, Darian
  2. The whistle dog was done dirty by the gross relish. You'd think a bacon cheddar dog was impossible to screw up. A hotdog with real cheddar cheese, bacon, mustard, sweet onion and a slice of pickle (optional ketchup and or mayo) would have been amazing. I'm making some later today on the BBQ
  3. If It's not hurting, and even remotely helping... then... what's the concern?
  4. Why wear helmets at all then? He asked facetiously
  5. That is super interesting, I didn't know that!
  6. I could definitely handle reducing the ratio a bit, but would never want to see it done away with entirely. If I were commish I'd reduce the ratio by 2 starters and make the new reward for most Canadian snaps by season's end more substantial (1st rounder instead of 2nd rounder maybe?). We'd get 2 arguably better players on the field, likely improving the quality of play, while incentivizing playing the best homegrown talent as often as possible
  7. I wonder if RoadGriller is still writing Justin Goltz erotica
  8. I havent had to watch a Tide commercial since about then. I enjoy having adblockers that actually work!
  9. Not sure if it's related but... I had issues with my bluebombers app, ticketmaster app, and my google wallet not talking to one another, would just clock and freeze when trying to login or view my tix. Turns out Firefox as a default browser was the culprit. Switched to Chrome as default and it worked fine
  10. Lions fans hating the Manu pick despite his measurables. A Canadian kid that was barely mentioned in the top 300? Yuck! I'd rather see him in WPG obviously, but I hope he blows the doors off just to see the backpeddling
  11. Ferguson also had Wallace as his top OL pick, I like Ferguson, hope he's right
  12. 2:19 he has some wheels when needed
  13. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=35nByW_PCDU 'Big' interior DL
  14. This is our bonus 2nd rounder from Canadian reps
  15. Keep your fingers crossed and hold your breath for the next 20 minutes
  16. I remember Ferguson gushing over Brubacher, says he popped at the combine
  17. Get an ad blocker and use Sportsurge if you dont need/want the highest quality. Or use a VPN to appear American and use thetvapp dot c o, the quality is usually 👌
  18. I always stop for a slurpee on my way to shop at WALBD
  19. Amazing. I almost drove out to the Morden corn and apple festival last year just to see Sloan. Should have even, I heard they rocked. This gets better and better.
  20. Yes there was that as well (I guess I'll hold it lol) and a couple drink tix too. I bet the increase in VIP costs correlates to the number of complaints they get about the biffies
  21. I'd call the $160 upcharge per ticket for VIP too ridiculous. A lanyard, some popcorn, and rush seating within the VIP area is not worth a 200+% increase imo. Pretty sure in 2022 it was maybe $40 or $50 per ticket to upgrade. Oh well, not like I was planning on sitting down anyways Presale started at 10am, presale code BBP24 if anyone wants
  22. Can't wait! LINEUP: Thurs. Aug. 22 – Blue Rodeo, Skydiggers, Indian City, and guests. Fri. Aug. 23 – Arkells, July Talk, The Blue Stones, The Haileys. Sat. Aug. 24 – Headstones, I Mother Earth, and guests. Sun. Aug. 25 – Tom Cochrane, Streetheart, Sass Jordan, and guests. No way I could make all 4 nights work... but that Fri/Sat lineup is KILLER and could still get even better Seen July Talk, Blue Stones, IME and possibly 'guests' but somehow I still haven't seen the Headstones... about time I fix that! Will be my first time seeing Arkells, I like their radio tunes and they get points for playing the 2021 GC halftime show. The Hailey's I get major The Beaches vibes from and that's not a bad thing at all. Local act, too! Will absolutely be worth the money and if the VIP package isn't too ridiculous this year I'd recommend it.
  23. Fallout on Amazon was great. The props, sets, costumes and effects were incredibly detailed and almost totally faithful to the aesthetic of the video games that inspired the show. The gore is intentionally silly without spoiling the action, the doe eyed 'Ned Flanders in the Apocalypse' protagonist bit never wears thin, plenty of comedic actors like Johnny Pemberton, Michael Rapaport, Chris Parnell and others filling out the side-cast and keeping the wasteland fun and wacky like it's meant to be. Between this and The Righteous Gemstones I'm becoming a Walton Goggins fan
