  1. Did TSN capture the Andrew Harris tribute before the game started? He received quite a generous ovation, you'd hope that would have smoothed things over a bit.
  2. Yes they did well, only 1 procedure call that i remember, but it wiped out a decent chunk of yards and led to a stop iirc (I havent seen the TV replay yet). I like our chances more at home than on the road, any help from the crowd is welcome.
  3. TSN doesn't do the volume of a sold out IGF justice. It is deafening at times. Home field advantage is real
  4. Sure and I want Streveler as my backup, I like players that make plays
  5. He's also only 70 yards back from Harris' receiving totals from that same year, Oliveira is no one trick pony. MOC and MOP
  6. Yes for sure the Nationalized American part makes sense. I don't understand how (or why) he would be listed as both NA and DA. What is the benefit or drawback of doing this, if any? I legitimately assumed it was a printing error on their depth chart. NA can replace any American for the entirety of the game, or replace a National for 29 plays. A DA can only play teams and replace other Americans. Seems like the two would conflict? I am missing something
  7. Actually I was wondering one thing, what benefit do the BC Lions get from having Nick Usher as both a Nationalized American and Designated American? Is there any benefit? Either I'm missing something, or it's a waste
  8. That's what a bad D looks like. That's a bend then break D right there.
  9. Saw him double-clutch on a crosser to Demski I believe it was, completely threw him off his route... I agree, he is too often bouncing around when he has time to throw, he's expecting his protection to collapse, whether it does or not
  10. I'm curious too, I saw the flag come out and Argo players coming out on the field in protest for a sec, but missed the actual deed
  11. I forgot to look for Hansen out there, did he dress tonight? He didn't get on the stat sheet tonight
  12. Agreed, and it worked well enough too. Passes to the flats, runs up the gut or occasionally off tackle, the occasional shot downfield (usually we see Schoen and Lawler haul them in, less so tonight), if Collaros showed his usual touch we win by a lot more. Not that it would count for more in the standings or anything.
  13. 1 Brady 2 Woli 3 Prukop and the short yardage crew HH $5 coors prior to kickoff
  14. Not a lot of the success on deep strikes we are used to, Lawler was a ghost for a stretch, Collaros overthrowing receivers, no sacks or picks, field goals instead of TDs, lots to be disappointed in, far from a perfect game, but hey, we won! I'll take narrowly beating a backup qb over narrowly losing to a backup qb every time
  15. Energy at the stadium was pumping, especially after we took the lead. The crowd took a lot of pleasure in icing this one away. It was maybe a snoozer on TV I'd guess but live it was pretty great
  16. Great chance to practice then. Bad excuse.
  17. The draft beer was never strong enough for me to think this, at the old stadium or the new one
  18. A guy in my row at the old stadium had a gold pro-stitch Brink jersey. Just... why
  19. He could boot it deep and get there to make the tackle as it was caught, like Mr Perfect but with his foot
  20. Nothing really changes from the players perspective. Beat the man in front of you and make the play. Same as always.
  21. Can't wait to see Hansen easing guys straight into the turf Or eachother... why tackle eine footabller when you can tackle zwei footballers
  22. Hansen coming back strong will make a big difference. As much as I want him back now I just hope they aren't rushing him, a torn achilles is no joke
  23. He had so much room to run. I was so emotionally amped up on that drive that when he threw the pick I swear my roof shook.
