Can just speak to what I've heard on Twitter. Some folks that have been at camp the last few days say he was looking pretty rough. Take it for what it's worth. I should also be clear that the sample size was a few recent days of camp, not necessarily the entire thing.

I'm fully expecting us to lose, and lose badly. We're talking the Riders starters vs our tryout team. If we make it close it will be very embarassing for them. I'm mainly interested in: D-Line play - need a couple guys here to stand ouy O-line play (if some of our projected starters are playing) - have to be able to protect the QB and we are down two starters from last year. Linebackers - Not much to say from Camp. Biggie isn't going to last forever. We need to start thinking transition plan. Kick returners - will feel a lot better if we can find someone who can consistently catch the ball and get up the field Quarterbacks - Who is going to step up if Collaros goes down? There's been some reports that Strev has not looked good in practice. We need him to be #2 not a short yardage/package QB in case there's an injury to Collaros.

How do we interpret those 6 gamers? That legitimately carries into the season right?

Given we know who 4 of our 5 receivers are going to be...gotta figure they are trying to hit a home run with who they pick to complement that group rather than someone that currently knows what they're doing. Says a lot about the skill level of the guys we've brought in too.

I'd have a hard time thinking MCI would pass him on the depth chart as the gameday backup at RB this year. It sounds more like they will use him at FB/TE if he sees the field on offense

Back to Training Camp discussion. Man, you get the impression Michael Chris-Ike is going to be a factor (no, not the jabari arthur factor) on this team. I am not usually one to pay attention to the combine results but for a guy that is 6'1" 225 to be the top in the cone and shuttle is impressive. Combine that with having a bunch of special teams tape; describes himself as aggressive on teams; it really sounds like he is exactly what we need. You could also see O'Shea beaming (the classic O'Shea beam) when talking about him.

I was planning on going Sunday (like every year) but it was delayed 5 hours and we had mothers day plans. Not sure I'll be able to get out there. 😔

It would be a great situation if we can start Terrell Ford or a Canadian at safety. Actually seems fairly likely.

Offense is going to be fine. We have a lot of talent and depth there. Zero question we will find someone to fill the 3rd American receiver spot. There is enough competition and depth on the o-line that we should be fine there as well. Special teams on paper it looks like we will be much better than last year. Fresh faces bring new energy. Defense is where there is the most uncertainty. We need someone to step up at Corner. Holm and Nichols are locks at half. I think we have a lot of options at safety and one of the corner positions. Finding a top cover guy would go a long way to making that group formidable. D line i see similarly. We have a few guys there but we need someone to step up. Maybe even a couple. Willie does some good things but I hope we run a DI at the end position this year. Linebackers I can't understand why we don't bring in more competition. Are we that confident in Biggie and Wilson?

Really enjoyed hearing Walters talk about the depth they added in the draft, but also about some of the guys that were drafted in previous years that they expect are going to make an impact both at role positions and special teams Clercius, MCI, Ford (I know he did play for us but he's an improvement), Charboneau, Kelly (stepping up to AR), MacDougall. Not to mention the global guys who will be competing for the last "Canadian" spot. And we only really lost Briggs, Miller (who wasn't actually playing) and Exume? Our special teams have to be better this year, right?

It would be interesting to see Strev and him in some packages
