Matthews - D.Pierce - Carr - triple towers - that will create headaches for oppossing DCs.

I'd bring Carr back in place of Denmark, to be honest. But I love tall receivers.
I love tall receivers too. But we have D.Pierce on the roster though.
If we can get something for Denmark I will not opposed to bring th Carr show back.

KBF, I know we beat Montreal in Montreal last year but they have so many big play weapons that it's going to be hard to stop them. And the Bombers don't have that fan support to pick them up. If Buck plays poorly it's going to be a long night. On his shoulders.
As far as Kavis Reed goes, does he last the season? Will Hervey fire an old teammate? Is that the Eskimo way?

iirc, some fans thought Hervey schooled Mack and is a better GM, especially on that Reilly signing.

i) just got home 15 min ago... yup, taking a train to your car then driving home takes a long f-ing time in this town, so don't diss our relatively small attendances
ii) nice to see 29k in the place
iii) our DHBs got their arses handed to them repeatedly... made Burris look like a god
iv) neither QB got a tough lick on them... could've been a game changer
v) i'm practising my punting/kicking starting tomorrow morning
vi) being a bachelor is awesome: i'm throwing a delissio in the oven and watching the BC/Calg game from the beginning

We have a very good team and we will be competitive... our Defense will be back to its 2011 form, no doubt about it... our Offense will get there once they get consistency... and special teams recovered from a bad start, pretty sure Dickinson will not let it happen again...
That said, we still need to make decision who deserves to be as starters and who are not...

Well, I am a big fan of CFL vets and I think we have cut the wrong vets at times... but maybe its time to get even younger, this sure seems like another rebuild year.
JJ - have to say, it looks like hes lost a step, might as well put Markett in, JJ can win his job back if he wants it
Labbe - his whole schtick is Special Teams - but he is a weak link now, I cant forget that pathetic fake in preseason, this game he was a nonfactor - who replaces him though...
Morley - costly penalty, maybe the preseason antics were more a sign that he cant keep up...
Edwards - never thought I would even suggest this but but maybe its time to transition to player coach... wouldnt cut him outright but too many waggle penalties, not enough practice and the refs all know he plays up the PI, its not working anymoreAnd, of course, Buck... but thats another thread.
it was the vets that made untimely errors on this one - JJ, Morley and Edwards... JJ is the same as last year so clearly he needs to be replaced, Morley and Edwards may get another pass but obviously there are guys ready to step up on their posts. Not sure about Labbe, he might not have a ST tackle that's because the Muamba bros are leading the way... and Pontbriand.

I'm willing to gave him ONE more chance next week in montreal, if he losses again, it's time to move on from him and go with goltz this early. move him back to #2 or move him upstairs with crowton.
Buck and Jovon is the weakest link of the team tonight.

Als is scary in Offense but not so much in Defense... the only thing worries me in their D is Bowman who still their best DE and pair of **** heads in Emry and Kuale... our OL should guard Pierce at all times even if the whistle has been blown already.
On or D, interesting match up would be Washington vs Richardson and Dunn vs Green.
We know Suber can handle Bruce. Stewart will be up against their NI rec. Let's hope that JJ will be able to contain London too.

Who will be the 4-man reserve?
- Sheman, for ST purposes or Kowalczuk for added protection to Buck ?
- Markett, which is the norm (backup DB) or McGee (backup Nickel), in case Dunn stunk
- Anderson (or Matthews if he's a no go)

Would they bring in an NI to be on the 46 until Jake Thomas can go and then move the new guy to the open NI spot on the PR?

most likely the NI LB or DL will go straight to the 42
so im inclined to believe that the guy will be plucked away from other team's roster

im laughing because some of the Bomber fans who are panicking after 2 pre-season game losses where the startes barely played on most the rookies who played are not here after 10pm saturday...
im laughing because while it's Burke discretion to use the pre-season game mainly to give gameday reps to the depth guys and give full game chances to the rookies... some Bombers fans dont understand it
