TorontoArgos RT @tsnmikehogan: Wednesday's #Argo game will be streamed live on line at TSN1050.ca or listen for rebroadcast on #TSN1050 at midnight
-
tsnmikehogan Several #Argo vets will not play tomorrow in Winnipeg. Ray, Kackert, Durie, Owens. Barnes, Van Zeyl, Huntley, Washington and 3 LBs inc.
CFL RT @cfllandry: Lots of Argo vets to take a pass on tomorrow night's game. No Ricky Ray. BIG game for QB's Collaros and Harris. #CFL #Argos

I can't see the Bombers cutting Hefney.
All this talk about being disappointed with his play? Why would they give him a 35k bonus with his new deal in January then.
Suspend him a game without pay and be done with it.
im hoping for that too... but Mack is not afraid to pull any trigger... so let see what happens.
-
yes! football season is here. we should see the depth chart for tomorrow's game, right ?
unfortunately, TSN will not televise the game but CJOB as always will give us the play-by-play action .
Any idea if FreePress will put up a streaming video of the game just like they did 2 (or 3) years ago?
oh btw, i know it's a no-bearing game but here's my guesses for tomorrow's game...
- score: 36 Bombers - 34 Argos
- first TD: Ford on a kick return
- first INT: Hefney
- first Sack: Gilmore

I love Hefney as a football player and I want him to stay as a BlueBombers.
As it stands right now, and as Knuckles have hinted, his days with the BlueBombers may be numbered.
Maturity and leadership is obviously a big issue with Hefney and hopefully, that wont be enough reason for Mack and Burke to cut ties with him.
But if they do, hopefully it's not an outright cut.... at least get something from him. (Hear that Mack !?)

That's funny. I posted there this morning to address something and I referred to our site as "that other forum" without the censor. I wonder if Colin thinks I tried to type in the name.
I've been told by a few people that there are rumblings over there that we planted that Access_Blue guy to stir **** up. I can't see why we'd want (or need) to do that.
dont let that poster lurks here, Mike.

im ok with washington as the fulltime returner and DI on defense.
but if washington winds the nickel spot then someone else (not a starter) need to fill the returner spot.
do will ford do kick returns in college?
i think he suit that position well since he is quite dangerous in open field and he still can come in in some offensive snaps.
EDIT: found out he return kicks and these are his stats.

Meh, injuries are ALWAYS going to happen in camp.
Doesn't seem like a big deal, nothing serious (other than Dicroce) yet.
Edmonton, on the other hand, already lost their starting RT (and nominee for MOL in 2012) for the year.
Add K-Groh on that

I watched him play for the Rifles, and he's a clutch receiver with great hands. It's tough to make the jump from Junior to Pro though. The BC Lions and the Saskatchewan Roughriders both have arrangements with local junior teams that allow a few junior players to play for their junior club, but practice with the main club. It would be fantastic if the Bombers could do this with Carter. (That's how BC protected Andrew Harris, while developing his skills in practice with the main team).
i think we have to sign Carter as a teritorrial exception to protect him and he will be the 8th guy on our PR

WR Isaac Anderson out... knees and back ... according to Wiebe
Dominoes falling
Oh, well at least we will have a chance what the others can do

Just regarding the change to blue and gold ...
It wouldn't be any different than what you see now except the blue bars would be more "Bomber blue" and the grey bars would be gold. The white text boxe, etc would still remain the same.
awesome!
and re: twitter feed...
what i would like to see is, it should be in the pane on the right side of the page. so that even if you browsing the forums post you'll still gonna see the updates.

"The kind of ball I’m thinking of is: Don’t hold it, get rid of it, use the run and the pass quickly, but do it in a way that is rhythmic so we can get on a roll,"
"I want to control it and move it down there at a good, fast clip."
that's what i want to see in our offense this season.

i want my blue & gold

dont know where to post it so ill just do it here...
found this in http://cfl.ca/page/transactions...
WPG DEL IMP Wallace MILES (WR) North Carolina A&is that because of his injury ?
-
according to knuckles, fight is between
Morley vs. Mainor and McCree vs Massey
2 consecutive days that Morley was involved in a fight, yesterday it was vs. Gilmore
and what, 2 receivers fighting? are they arguing among themselves who will mane the team?
-
i think suber has good chance to win that one and penser might end up in the IR again...
-
from DCM again...
So far two fights, one appeared to be Suber and Pencer, but there were so many bodies involved. McCree and Massey went at it good. Punches appeared in both.
Markett and West both picked Hall today. Poblah had a couple nice catches. Receivers have had the better hand today.
Haven't seen Kohlert return to the field. Not sure what his injury could be or what happened. -
wouldn't it be funny if it was Etienne?
the 'midget' vs the 'stick'
-
i wonder who's receiver was involved?
-
WiebeSunSports Intensity rising at #Bombers workout as a fight breaks out. Looked like Alex Suber took a swing at one of the WRs
... uh-oh not good, Burke doesnt like fighting in his camp.
-
from DCM (over from the official forum)... apparently West has another interception again ... he got 2 yesterday

Chad FaulconSchool: Montclair StatePosition: SBio: Three year starter awarded All-American and all-conference honors last season. Senior totals included 73 tackles/3interceptions/7 pass break ups after 67/1/6 the prior year.Positive: Nice sized safety with a good head for the ball. Effectively diagnoses the action, stays with assignments and shows a burst to the play. Breaks down well, uses his hands to protect himself and effectively covers the pass in the short field. Takes good angles to the action, squares into tackles and wraps up tackling. Aggressively goes after ball handlers.Negative: Must improve his backpedal. Not quick moving in reverse. Primarily used in the box at Montclair State.Analysis: Faulcon is a solid small school prospect with the ability to be kept on a roster as a ninth defensive back if he plays well on special teams.
