I think Riders can't have both Green and Dressler. I kinda like Dressler in Blue&Gold. But I agree that's there a cheaper option out there. I really like Ernest Jackson. Chiles would be good too. I'm not really high on Ellingson.

Not yet, but at last that I heard, he was hoping for NFL opportunities. He tried it last year and didn't stick there. Then he came back to the CFL late in the season. Not sure how playing 2 months in Canada will make a difference in sticking in the NFL. That said, I also like to see him here. He can play WIL and MLB.

What does it even matter when they bother to announce it? Because the more it delays the more it looks that it's not a done deal. It's not a Jets gameday today, so what's the excuse now? I'm surprised by this. I thought he would get some interest from teams around the league. I really didn't see him resigning in CGY. It's a given that Walter will re-sign with CGY it's just a matter of when. It's not difficult to guess since Cornish is aging up and Walter will be the heir-apparent. Just like Cornish who bide his time before while playing as backup to Reynolds, Walter is doing the same behind Cornish. He has already re-signed with the Stamps. I know. I'm just explaining it to BigBlue that's it's a given so he/she shouldn't be surprised by that.
