Maybe. I'm not so sure. When we talk about depth, that's guys like Stephan, Sherman, West, Labbe, Lucas, Swiston, Kohlert, Volny. Is that so much better than Fritz, Browne, Donny O, McKinlay, Mayne, Stephenson, Oosterhuis? Younger, for sure, but youth doesn't really help us win football games right now.

If they're actually serious about getting rid of the leak, they should clear the entire board, guaranteeing that the one who leaked the news will be gone. This "If we ever find out who did it, there will be consequences" is just the same hot air as we've heard from the board a hundred times. They are not interested in real change, just keeping their spots.

As someone who lived in Calgary, I can say this isn't really true. The biggest hassle for me in Calgary was getting around. It's so damn spread out and if you have friends in different corners of the city, be prepared for some real travel time. And traffic... oh boy. I'm sure it's worse in places like Vancouver and Toronto, but I've never experienced anything in Winnipeg remotely close to rush hour on the busy Calgary thoroughfares.

Is our Canadian talent that much better now than 2009? I would disagree with that. Our receivers and running backs have gotten way better, but we've stagnated or gotten worse in pretty much every other spot. OL is worse, DL is worse, DB is worse.

You know that most Canadian players are special teamers and backups right? They can't all be starters and all stars.

I hope Buchko cuts his holiday short and is available today. You can't just fire the GM and then hide in the States. He needs to be a leader and face the media today.

I don't understand why we always have to reach back into the past for all our hirings. We need to clear out the Board of Directors and everyone all the way down from there to the coaching staff and bring in some fresh blood. People that aren't tied to the successes of 25 years ago and all the failures since then. It's time for a total overhaul from top to bottom.
