  1. I'd like to at least see the new WRs in game action before making any broad conclusions. Realistically it's Pokey and White in the 2 starting American spots so these new guys are battling for spots on the PR or as injury replacements. Dorian Singer looks like he could be a player.
  2. It's surprisingly professional and functional, for the CFL. I like it. Nothing fancy and gives you everything their website does but organized much better. I'd like to see them implement a system similar to the Jets "Pucks" system where you can complete tasks to gain "Pucks" then spend them on contest entries or small merch items. It gives you a reason to check in on the app more frequently, adds a little interactivity.
  3. We'll have to wait and see how they use him but his career up to this point would suggest he'll be the #4 receiver on this team and likely relied on as a possession guy who can get you that first down or touchdown when you need it.... type of guy who will have 3 catches for 45 yards at the end of the game but they'll all be for first downs.
  4. Still early, no doubt. I read today that Demski was out and they moved Cobb to his spot and Corcoran took Cobb's spot. So it seems like they are pretty set on 3 Canadian WR, at the moment. Couple that with the fact that they will want to pull out a Canadian WR at times to put on Daniels or MCI. So that's when Cobb etc would come out. I still think the offensive line is the most likely position that an American could win a spot. Heard good things about Elsbury and we know Randolph and Vanterpoole can play.
  5. It appears to me that the Bombers are leaning towards starting 9 Canadians again - Oliveira, Neufeld, Eli, Wallace, Demski, Nield, Cobb/Corcoran/Clercius, Lawson, Kramdi. I guess the big question is whether an American can win a starting job at C over Eli... Can't see them cutting Neufeld or Wallace. I'd be curious if anyone has been getting first team reps at C other than Eli.
  6. He was the Indianapolis Colts receivers coach in 2016 when TY Hilton led the league in receiving yards
  7. Felt like Ceresna singlehandedly beat us in the Grey Cup a couple years back..... Just dominated the line of scrimmage all game
  8. I am happy to see the Bombers land a big free agent
  9. Yeah, the job is his even if he comes to camp injured and doesn't practice a single time. We know how O'Shea operates at this point. Veterans don't need practice and they certainly don't need to be evaluated.
  10. Going to be the exact same roster as last year minus Kola and Thomas. Not good enough, and one year older. Wake me up when the 5-13 season is over.
  11. I think it was a nagging hamstring issue... hopefully he can get that sorted out because he can be elite... I'd love to see the Bombers bring him in
  12. Sure, to a certain degree. But when the Bombers were at their best in 19-21 it was the result of several years of big game hunting in free agency for studs like Andrew Harris, Bighill, WJ, Winston Rose, and Stanley Bryant, at the time those guys weren't just veteran leadership, they were the most talented players on the team. I look at the current roster and there isn't any position where we have the most talented player in the league. Maybe Brady. But the veteran leadership for the most part is washed up. It sure looks like they are bringing back 80-90% of the same players (unless MOS cuts them in camp LOL). It's hard for vets to be leaders when they can't bring it on the field anymore. If the Bombers aren't active in free agency and bring in a top name or two AND some impact rookies, it's just going to be even worse than last season.
  13. Haven't we tried this already?
  14. I always find it hard to browse the CFL's official free agent list so I re-organize it by position for readability. Still lots of time until free agency opens so this list is getting smaller daily.
  15. A rough look at the depth chart with 3 weeks to go until free agency, apologies for any errors or omissions:
  16. From what I hear they are all gone. MOS, Walters, McManus all leaving. Miller will do one more year as CEO but he is on the way out as well.
  17. I think he is already gone and they're just waiting til after the Grey Cup to announce it.
  18. Change is probably needed but let's not kid ourselves that things can't get worse. All it takes is one bad hire to send us back to 4-14 land for half a decade.
  19. Dammit they're making me believe again
  20. Kola on that sack oh man 😂
