  2. I have never heard a coach say you don't lose your job to injury. Seems to be a media fabrication. They ask coaches all the time "But I thought players don't lose their jobs to injury?" and the coaches all say "I never said that."
  3. Because beating Saskatchewan doesn't prove anything
  4. Reilly ducking under that one tackler last night was about as slippery as it gets.
  5. They appear to be the most complete team in the East. They beat Calgary and suffered close losses to BC, Winnipeg and Edmonton. They have a good defence and are pretty solid across the board on offence. I expect them to come on strong as the season progresses.
  6. I think he's been practicing basically since the beginning of the season. He was never on the injured list but he was hobbled in training camp for awhile.

Judging by the state of NXT I would have to disagree. It's just wrestling, wrestling, and more wrestling. No such thing as an angle. Makes for boring TV.
  8. Well none of the big analysts told me that
  9. A lot of people were looking at Peter Polansky as the next up-and-coming Canadian tennis star. This Shapovalov kid came out of nowhere. Great to see so much Canadian talent coming up through the tennis ranks. I also don't think Raonic is anywhere near finished.
  10. Yeah I agree with this, and it wouldn't make sense to pay starter-money to Bruce Johnson to be the 6th or 7th DB. That spot is more suited to a rookie like Carmichael. Johnson is the better player but due to the salary cap sometimes cheaper wins over better.
  11. How many two and outs did they have? The defence kept giving them the ball back and Harris either completed a 2 yard pass, got sacked, or threw it incomplete. He was not good. Maybe that's on the receivers... it's hard to tell on TV. But if they still had Burris they would not be 1-6-1 and they may have won last night. Harris just isn't there yet.
  12. Earlier in the season you made a comment about Brett Maher having fine numbers but making mistakes at the worst possible times. That couldn't have been more true. He and Trevor Harris are similar in that way.

Unfortunately that will probably be the beginning of the end for WWE. If Hunter and Steph are calling the shots, it won't take long for the company to go down the drain.
  14. Hot take: We lose to Hamilton and beat Edmonton
  15. Bad mistakes at bad times for Ottawa! Constantly!
  16. Ottawa's offence is just not good enough. They put up big numbers because the defence constantly gives them back the ball. They only have 3 legitimate receivers. Their running backs are just average.
  17. I think everyone can enjoy some Shania Twain
  18. Wow loss of down on the time count penalty. Here we go Ottawa.
  19. JBR hates McDuffie. Ottawa is coming back in a big way here. They are going to win this game if they go into halftime with the lead.
  20. Yes I would have to agree
  21. It's not as bad as it was a few years back when they outlawed blocking from the side on returns.
  22. McDuffie with the *almost* TD
  23. I don't think so. Jennings passed for over 5000 yards and had 27 TDs against 15 INT. He is legit. Michael Bishop couldn't go ten passes without turning the ball over. Great arm though.
