  1. with sears hurt it's going to mean one of the new guys will get a spot too
  2. lol there was a news article saying he was safe. those reporters always on the pulse.
  3. I'd say the two statements are mutually exclusive.
  4. of course it would. I've heard coaches say they play a ton of man coverage just to see who can cover. It's not exactly hard to get players that have played football all their life to run a few vanilla schemes.
  5. uhh do you get that this is what every other team does in every other pre season game?
  6. you think a professional coach just didn't try to coach him?
  7. probably because it's presently made up of people that will be selling cars tomorrow.
  8. they must have changed the article because it now says "NHL deputy commissioner Bill Daly said his league would simply absorb the cost of creating its own indoor press box if Winnipeg was granted an outdoor game and the situation had not been rectified. "We put a lot of money into fitting out stadiums," said Daly. "Part of the cost of doing business. Not a big deal." not exactly ambiguous
  9. If this is true, why do most teams run an incredibly vanilla pre season game?
  10. Ironically it came back to bite the saints when there was film on their blitzing schemes so lets hope it does the same for the argos
  11. I'm not trying to be a homer here but I'm pretty sure I've seen a doucmentary where the coaches have agreed to no blitzes or trick plays in a pre season game and that generally blitzing and trick plays aren't done in a pre season game but you don't have to believe me.... http://www.nfl.com/news/story/09000d5d8281f3fe/article/donte-whitner-says-saints-blitzed-hard-in-preseason And then there's the 2011 preseason opener between the Saints and San Francisco 49ers, now best remembered as "That One Without The Gentleman's Agreement." http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2012/01/17/49ers-coach-thankful-saints-showed-their-blitzes-in-preseason/ "Back in August, there was a mini-controversy after the 49ers faced the Saints because New Orleans blitzed San Francisco in their first preseason game like it was the second round of the playoffs."
  12. Also I don't think Jade Etienne just "finally realized he's a pro" he was drafeted raw and he's been working at it and getting better.
  13. Lady in front of me touched the magnet. Most of the game I spent restraining myself from wanting to touch the magnet.
  14. I'd say he showed something. I don't know if it was enough to be called a lot though. I think he beats out goltz in the end though. ie even if they call goltz number 2 to start. when buck gets hurt halk ends up playing sooner rather then later like Elliott last year. also lucas knifed in for a nice tackle for loss.
  15. outside of a renaud recovery and nice return wasn't much to see. I almost like to lose pre season games. winning seems to be a bad omen.
  16. whats so hard to understand. If you are a casual fan (non Season ticket holder) and you are going to make it a handful of games why not make them all real games?
  17. if people want to revise things after the pre season that is cool but may as well toss out a prediction in the meantime.
  18. Honestly if I wasn't a season ticket holder I wouldn't go. Save your money for a real game if you want to see the stadium take a tour.

  20. yeah the human voice is pretty trebly, don't think it'd penetrate the ground too well. People Jumping all at once might do something though.
  21. wwf would list crow as an endangered species.
